It's okay. It was a good weekend, despite my obvious disappointment at realising I would be persona-non-grata at your soiree. I had bought a new outfit and everyfink, Jeff.

Beating ManUre and Chelski, it's been a GREAT week. That is the one thing we can agree on, I imagine. Please don't feel bad, as I cancelled the soiree once I realized I hadn't posted your invite. New outfit? Is it as slinky as that latex number you wore when you gave SamHarris a lapdance at the club last month?

You only cancelled because you got a facesitting offer from dame Edna.

Yes, marvellous, isn't she?

Promised myself I wouldn't debate in here so I won't.

All I will say is Martinez has got Wigan into the final.

Insightful and honest observation, now heres mine...

Mancini has got City into the final.

Am I the only one that thinks the biggest difference between us and them today was the fact that they've been playing matches every couple of days and we haven't?

If we're honest with ourselves, Aguero should have been sent off, and torres was fouled in the box by Kompany. We were shit the entire second half, and the negative tactics brought the pressure on us.

But yeah, pure genius.

You know you shouldn't be smoking that stuff!

Dont mind him,hes from America and started supporting City when Sven was manager...

I have da proof.

Only the long-form birth certificate will do - ask any President!

Ergo: Martinez = Mancini?

GordonDaviesmoustache you are correct about the number of trophies and the time period being under 3 years.

What do you think about the circumstances of Mancini's achievement, getting over the culture and language barrier, having to overcome the Ferguson bias shown by other managers, Pullis did a tribute to him on Saturyday which was cringeworthy........

I think Roberto has done well on what was not a level playing field....

Although I do sit in the Mancini out camp. I'd like to say he more or less got things right yesterday. The pace & tempo we played at for the majority of the game was excellent.

Some of the decision by the players in the final 3rd nearly cost us. We should have been out of sight.

Lets not forget we were playing a bloody good side and always expected them to come back an put pressure on us.

For me all the players and staff did what they needed to do to get us over the line.

Well done.

As for you guys telling certain posters to stay out of this thread as it's a Bobby Love in - my suggestion is stay out of the Mancini out Thread as it's not a Mancini Love fest - Can't have it both ways

Lets look forward to the final CTID

I think you'll find it is entitled Mancini, not Mancini out, and as such is a thread for debate on Roberto both pro and against.

This thread on the other hand is a positive thread. That is not to say gloomsters such as yourself are not entitled to come on here and slag him off.

So, you're inviting us to create a 'Mancini arrivederci' thread?

I've said for a while there should be a thread for each "out" & "In" - That way it stops half of the childish comments and abuse you get on here.

Out for only outers & In for the Inners

Anyway I'm going to lie down, still too fragile
