Mancini - Doing a fine job, nevermind talk of Mourinho

so from january our trajectory has been....

down.

how many replays have we had? how many league points have we dropped? are we ahead against Kyiv, did we smash Aris like we should be doing?

How many shite performances have we put in one after the fucking other.

sorry if you're happy with how we're going then you have no aspirations for our club, simple as, otherwise you'd be concerned about how shit we've been over the last 3 months.
so if we had the chance to get mourinho ud take it i guess

I would have serious discussions with him as I would any top quality manager, it's good practice. However I'm not going to have a dick waving contest with other managers, I'm just sick of people coming on with their "holier than thou" "i can criticise you for your opinion just because I don't like and I'll churn out old and tired cliches that don't actually prove my point because the deeper facts prove we're regressing, not progressing". If you can't debate and can't accept that others aren't happy with what's happening, for whatever reason, then ignore the threads instead of going "look at me! let us who can't debate just call other users names and criticise them because we can't accept their opinion, yay look at me aren't I big and clever creating the 130th thread on this wavelength because we have to be heard, don't you know?".

If some users want Mourinho instead of Mancini, then they're entitled to, deal with it.

It is a VERY fine line, isn't it? Good call. It was the same last season, when it revolved around that Spuds game and narrowly missing out to Hamburg.

Hamburg wasn't last season, was it?

Or am I losing track of time..?

How time flies when you're not winning things.

Just remember everyone.........3rd in the league, into the latter stages of TWO cups, not very typical City is it?

Some of the scorn poured into our great club and current manager makes my blood boil.

If any of the people on here "advising"' Mancini of his tactical failures were any good they'd be employed in the "real" world of football rather than, moaning about our exploits on a messageboard.

There can be people who know shit loads about the game and they don't have to have played to a high level or have coaching qualifications.

How many times do you see fans call something, a coach miss it, yet the fans end up being correct? It arguably happens more often than not. I reckon I am more of an expert on the game than the majority of pundits - with the odd exceptions - because some of these ex-players are know-nothing morons.

It's the same with the footy journalists. How often are they so wide off the mark that they actually look fucking stupid? Yet fans will have the right opinions and facts about the subject.

Don't discredit fans. Many fans have better opinions than coaches. Just because they aren't coaches doesn't mean they know nothing. Look at politicians. Many people in the general public could make better decisions, but they'll never be an MP.

I think many football managers are only managers because they are ex-players, not because they are good managers. I'm not saying this is the case with Mancini neither. But my point is this game is so well known by fans that I reckon more should try and get into the game because to be honest many fans honestly could do a better job than some managers. Again, not aimed at Mancini.

[PS- Round of 16 isn't the latter stages of a cup compeition. The next round may well be but this round isn't!]

Since January we've dropped one point more than the league leaders, and progressed through two rounds of the FA Cup and one round of the Europa League with a chance of progressing a further round in each cup in the next week.

Crisis.

I don't really want Mourinho, and i don't feel Mourinho would take the job unless we were already primed to be winning titles. If that was the case, we wouldn't be getting rid of Mancini.

All in all, it would be stupid to get rid of him, even if we finished 5th.
