Mancini - Doing a fine job, nevermind talk of Mourinho

Thats my concern too...great manager indeed but as many on here say-we would only be a stop gap and as a City supporter i would want more than that.

Imagine it's the summer of 2003 and you're talking to a mate about your hopes for City before they begin playing at The COMS. They tell you that City will have had 5 Managers including Sven Goran-Eriksson and an ex-United Player. I don't think even the most cynical Blue could've believed that.

How can anyone really get behind Mourinho when they know that he'll be off elsewhere inside a couple of seasons. You can't kid yourself.

Because he has won the title everywhere he has been!

this is the same question i ask, people think he will defiently come..i'm not so sure he will

He would if we threw money at him, without doubt.

He wants City...but do we want him?

I'm not so sure.

He had his chance last summer, if he wanted City. With any luck it will be too late at the end of this season.

To be fair, he knew the Madrid job was going to be available. I don't blame him for prefering Madrid to us - he's not a City fan.

If Mancini fails and City decide to get rid, surely they'll have a replacement ready like when we got rid of Hughes.

I don't know of any other manager, who is available, who can take charge...if Jose quits Madrid, then he's the man and the only suitable candidate, in my opinion.

He's turned us down twice, once when, if some posters are to be believed, he'd already said yes. Then Madrid came in for me.

So why trust him now. In my view he's more likely to go to Liverpool or Spurs.

Liverpool as he has been linked with them in the past and he fancies retracing former glories with them. If Harry takes over England then Spurs will be looking for a new manager. Jose might like the idea of taking on both Chelsea and Arsenal the current powers in the capital.

I just can't see him gracing our bench.

Agree 100% Even if he only came for 2/3 seasons he would leave having given us belief, a winning mentality, a high world profile....oh and some silverware, he might even like it and stay 20 years who knows.

Finally, i wanted Mancini to succeed but I’ve started to lose my belief that he can deliver, hope I’m wrong.
