very good point and i so hope you are right.

i for the life of me remember the rags playing like brazil in the first few years of slurs reign, it was only when teams were convinced that they were this all conquering allstar team that the open football started and then only in fits and starts

Great point - belief is in the eyes of the cup holder!

Would it make you change your mind on this if you knew he is due to take delivery of a new car... a right hand drive version... FACT. He is certainly not planning to leave, therefore he will only leave if he is sacked; that IS NOT going to happen. In 2 weeks time, he 'could' become legendary; becoming the most successful MCFC manager since Joe.

like a 100 grand car would tie him here:)
Of course not but a few weeks before the end of the season would seem an odd time to buy one if he thought his future was still unsure wouldn't it?

Yes but...... Can you not see? The trees are in the way? He is not planning on leaving, if he wins the FA cup and achieves top 4 he will not be moved on! If he fails in both these situations, that is different. However, I doubt the owner will want to move him..... unless he is presented with an offer he can't refuse.

Mancini won 17 straight games in Serie A, a record that broke the previous record by 6 games and has only recently been bested by Barca.

He broke that record after Juve got relegated, Milan and Fiorentina got docked a bunch of points - and of course most importantly - Mancini got the given the best player in the league outside of maybe Kaka...and certainly the most potent goal scorer in the league.

Mancini's record at Inter will always be seen through the prism of Calciopoli....

How does the bit in bold affect how many games Mancini won on the trot? Not having a go, serious question.

Mourinho has a greater track record but if the behavior shown last night is an indication of what we would be like under his reign...meh.

I'll stick with Mancini as long as he stays playing AT LEAST 3 attacking players (and 1 of them isn't a semi-attacker like Milner out wide).
