Mancini IN ..

Ok lets look at some recent poor results...

Qpr 0-0 we miss sitters, should be 2/3 up at half time, completely dominate. The players should have scored. Mancini cannot put it in the goal for them.

Liverpool 2-2 two very good strikes from them, the first shoudnt have counted due to a foul on dzeko and then a mistake from garcia.

3-1 saints three horrendous errors by barry and hart. Not a foul in the build up to the first as well.

These are things mancini cannot control, imo the players are to blame lately.

The most successful manager most posters on here have ever seen at the club the calls for his head are ridiculous. Whilst at European level it hasn't been good domestically we are now up there considered challengers for the major honours.

For what he's done he was rightly given a long term contract last summer. What he might need is a strong number 2 not afraid to point out where changes are needed as Platt seems a yes man. If in 2 years we have still failed in Europe as in not come close then yes then you might have an arguement to get rid.

As for transfers name a manager that hasn't made mistakes in the market? Even baconface has made some clangers for every Van Der Sar he signed there is a Taibi or in midfield Djemba Djemba or Bebe etc... Rafa the waiters signings played a huge part in the fact Liverpool haven't come near the champions league for the last 3 seasons. Marwood let the club down by messing around getting rid of the deadwood meaning we missed out. Because of FFP RVP was a no go the price the rags paid was above and beyond for a player of his age added on to his wages. And it also shows how desperate the rags had become as historically Sheringham apart a striker over 31 doesn't have a long term future with them.

The club has a long term vision and we can see it being built across the road from the Stadium in the shape of the new campus it will be a case of 1 big signing a year whilst the academy provides the basis of the squad that's why Soran and Begirlstain have been brought in to try and emulate the success Barca's academy has been. That long term vision needs stability and for what he's done that has to be Mancini. Even then the opinion can change if we go potless ala Arsenal where they grimly hang on to what he did 7 years ago then yes it would need reviewing but at the moment whilst it isn't looking rosy Mancini deserves a chance to correct it

Mancini wants to win.

We messed up in the summer transfer and it has cost us this season. A lesson to be learned.
We talked up RVP but didnt get him. This has a knock on effect for our other strikers i.e mancini doesnt rate Dzecko Tevez to do a job for him. This then knocks Dzeckos, Tevez's morale, confidence form etc, hence couldnt hit a barn door.
If the players dont want to play for Mancini ship them out, Fergie did it with Stam etc.
Mancini identified what players he wanted during last summers transfer activity and the men at the top let him down.
The core of our squad is solid, Hart, Kompany, Silva, yaya, Aguero Clihcy, Richards (whose presence and drive has been a big loss).
The rest of the squad can be sold on and we wont miss them. We are not a great squad, CL proved that and lasts summers inactive transfer activity is biting us on the arse. You cant blame Mancini. He wanted quality to enter the squad last summer and the bigwigs let him down.
On the flipside, I think the rags have a good team this term. We put them in there place last season, and they responded positively. Thats what we have got to do this summer. Freshen up the playing squad. Bring in two real quality players and we will steam roll the league next term.
Getting rid of Mancini wont solve anything. Hinchcliffe can suck my plonker the scab, stirring up dross in the press.
We have not been playing well, but the blame rests with the players. When the chips are down, you dig in and fight, and thats what mancini was airing in the press and i agree with what he said, because that is what we all was thinking.
Talk of mourinho or any other manager is showing a total lack of respect towards mancini after the silverwear he has brought to the club over the last few years, ungrateful tossers.
Can Mancini take us forward, defo, he just needs the bigwigs to get the players he wants and get rid of the deadwood.

Mancini everyday. 4 years in and 3 trophies.fa cup, charity or community shield, whatever era your from and of course the Prem.

taggart took 6 years to win the prem and only won one trophy in his first 4 years and this after still being the richest, bestest ever in a trillion years supported club with their 28 trillion supporters. it took 6 years.

I has a city supporter for over 40 years have seen too many managers come and go, its time to play a steady game of blackjack and stick.

With the slightest bit of stability we have shown we can lead from the front.

Mourinho
Started at Benfica and had a 54.55% out of 17 games, god even souness had a 57.75% success rate out of 71 games.

Then to deportiva where he won nothing and finishest 7th in league, Porto next where he had the foundations laid by the previous manager Fernando Santos. The rest of his career is history as he went from club to club where the club was already established and loved the adulation.

The media always class us as the club that employs mercenaries well there is no bigger mercenary than Mourinho.

I remember the bad times and they weren't good, too many managers too little time.

Please please please Sheikh Mansour stick with Robbie, he's delivered already, let him finish the job.

Top post. He must stay.

In fact if he is a chequebook manager, then so what.

Sod, FFP, give him what he needs. If we're banned fro Europe, so be it. But the competition will be hollow without the best team.

If we get docked points in th EPL, sod it. Who cares if the points say we weren't top but the results say we won all 38 games!

I think we should ride out this FFP with a straight face refusal to comply and see how quickly the thing collapses.

It won't take long before Sky and the EPL have twitchy arses if City, Chelsea and even Rangers in Scotland say sod you, we'll try something else. Add in PSG, Monaco the Turkish teams and even some American franchises/ South American teams and before you know it ESPN would back what could become a World Club team league.
Seriously WTF are you actually on about.

Going back to Tony Book's proper stint in the 1970s, only McNeil, Royle, and Keegan have been at the helm for as long as Mancini. We'd had as many years of misery as we've had months of success, and that's far too easily forgotten. Stability breeds success and we arguably need stability more than immediate gratification. The owners are in or the long-term and I fully expect Mancini to be mastering the present perfect and even conditionals with us in the years ahead. Yes, is possible, no?

Does it? Arsenal haven't won anything in the past eight years.
