More amazing how so many cannot get it into their head that Mourinho is NOT comeing to CITY..its like they have a big HOLE between their EARS.. it just goes in and comes out the other side...

Not only that We are 4th in the league been here all season in the final of the FA cup with a guy in charge who has been here about 16 months.

IMO Mancini will be let go if he doesn't get both 4th and the FA Cup.

Just getting 4th definitely leaves the owners open to seeking a manager they think will win trophies.

In my opinion - mainly because he was the board's choice (Hughes wasn't) - Mancini will see out his three years contract whatever he does or doesn't achieve. Towards the end of that contract they will assess how far he's brought us and decide whether to offer him a new contract. Which is exactly what they should be doing!

City is a cursed club. Mancini's had to overhaul this cursed identity and mentality. It's an achievement in itself to reach the FA cup final. You cannot escape an ingrained cursed identity overnight by just spending 300 million on players.
Mancini is working on it but needs time. Inter were also a cursed club, Moratti was the original oil baron spending hundreds of millions on players and won nothing until Mancini, even then he need at least two seasons to change mentality and identity.

Of course that was after we won a big game and I said it wouldn't be long before the next Mourinho thread pops up...even I'm surprised at how quickly this one has gathered pace though!

It really is a sad state of affairs when you've just beaten your arch rivals at Wembley, you're on the verge of a first trophy in 35 years and being in the champions league for the first time ever and people are still going on about managers at other clubs.

completely agree jay, we have never had it so good! obviously its all about opinions but lets enjoy the ride, its been far too shit supporting city since the majority of us were nippers. leave the manager debate till the end of the season

None of that is the point. We're going to a final at Wembley for the first time in my lifetime and we have some very important games before then. I and many others want to look forward to that without the same old shit about Mourinho every fucking day!!

I wouldn't mind but you're not telling us anything that every single member of this board doesn't already know; Mourinho is a fantastic manager and it doesn't take a football genius to work that out!

Everyone knows where i sit on this debate so i'm not getting involved in my opinion as whatever will be will be, i've said it all before.

What amazes me though is the way some posters get so riled up by other posters opinion.

Just because it's an opinion on the manager why is it so differant than opinions on a player or the club, good or bad?
