Mancini is right AJ is lazy

Not sure if this has already been posted so my apologies if it has but I felt sorry for AJ against Sunderland. In the first half he was the only outlet who looked like he could create something, in the second half Sunderland doubled up on him which made it impossible for him to contribute effectively.

For me his performances are down to the manager not giving him any support and making him an easy target. I mean against Sunderland our creative sources were Nasri and AJ with Dzeko up front. It must be so frustrating for a creative midfielder providing the passes to a centre forward who can't control a sand bag never mind a football.

AJ is young, a future regular for England. There's something about him that suggests that one day he is gonna be class. We've just got to be patient with him!

I didn't realise he was 25, I always had him down as being younger. My apologies

Not many wingers in the world are consitently good- it goes with the territory/position and your performance is often effected on the amount of times your team mates can give you the ball. He was frustrated by his lack of involvement so when he got the ball he tried too hard to make an impact. His goals/assists ratio this season speaks for itself.

Had two men tight on him all game, others obviously see him as a threat its a shame that City fans dont see it that way. ...

Did these two men stop him from tracking back when we lost the ball?.

Too be fair he wasn't the only one who was guilty of this.

Tactically, we all know the manager got it wrong against Sunderland. Key players were rested and the players he put in to replace them either are

A/ Not good enough
B/ Didn't step up to the plate on the day

We seem to say this a lot but I hope that Roberto has learnt from this and hopefully will rectify it tonight against the dippers.

2 points from a possible 12 is not title winning form irrespective of the teams we've played. It's no coincidence that the reason why we were battering teams at the start of the season is because he played a consistent 1st 11 week in week out barring the odd 1 or 2 changes.
