I agree that Milner is better in the centre but then again many on here bemoan the lack of pace in midfield and Milner is scarcely any faster than Barry.

Yeah still not enough for a man who is obviously not a winger

One thing that I really admire about him is that he never makes a fuss, old fashioned sort.

He gets kicked in the head and just shakes it off, really good to see

i think its plain to see, he is really at his best in the middle. it amazes me , that we bought him for what he'd shown there, and refuse to put him in there. id rather have him there over any of the others besides ndj

You dont have to be really blessed with much pace to play well in centre midfield - i agree that he's much better suited in there though!!
