in my life I have seen many great strikers play. by Rummenigge Vialli Mancini Baggio Van Basten to Maradona to Careca to Ronaldo (the real one) to Vieri to Drogba and Torres, and all of them were different. none of them had the effort of Tevez but I can guarantee that they all scored a lot and did their teams win. as well as more than Tevez. even without the "effort".

Balotelli will never join that list of players imo.

out of that list there was ONLY two that were better than balotelli when they were 20. ronaldo and maradona.

Balotelli has done very little to earn that praise.

Talented, maybe, attitude, stinks, and will get him nowhere in the long run unless he decides to grow up, start respecting people, being dignified and upbeat and man up a bit.

I don't put him in my list of world class players, that's for sure.

Balotelli is absolutely class. Didn't know much about him tbh before he joined but on the evidence of what I've seen he has all the credentials to be top, top draw.

Don't give a f*ck about his attitude as long as he is doing the business. His first game against Wolves he was playing up a lot and then West Brom he got himself sent off. He just wasn't used to teh rough and tumble of the PL. But against Stoke he got taken out a number of times and didn't react. Sure, he could work harder and I'm sure that Mancini will be drumming that into him as has Viera already.

But at 20 years old just how good he could get is frightening.

're speaking of things that are nobles, importants , but that has nothing to do with football.

but Balotelli is not a priest , nor a candidate for the Peace Nobel Prize :O)

is just a 20 years idiot (as more or less all the young footballer are) who was born to play football. ;)

Perhaps you should try watching him a bit more then?

That Cantona lad had a bad attitude too, same with Ronaldo. They were alright on their day.

where I wrote that Adebayor does not try?

I just wrote is not good enough. that he has poor first touch. that has poor vision. that can poorly pass the ball. that he is poor to keep the ball. in essence, that is not good enough to play a different role from lone striker.

believe me , i really dont rate the strikers on the base of the effort they put in the game.

effort is all for a CM , for a quality striker well others are the required characteristcs , IMO.

and this all have nothing to do with my "Inter prejudice"

more effort they put in=more likely to score goals imo, look at Carlos.

I agree with Mancio. Tevez is not a good example to be using here - everyone knows that he probably runs around more than any other striker in the game. There are plenty of fantastic strikers out there who don't do that, and score a sh*tload of goals.

Adebayor's touch and awareness isn't great, and he doesn't suit the system we want to play. Nothing to do with effort.

JoeMercersWay, how many minutes of football would you say you had seen Balotelli play?

some Champions League games and Serie A games.

I just really don't like his attitude, and it's making me not want him here, I don't like him.

Lucky for us, all players dont need to match your high attitude standanrds. I cant see anything wrong with his attitude, if he dont want to celebrate, its up to him! if he dont runt around smiling, its up to him! last game he was fouled plenty of times, he just get up and continue to play no moaning what so ever!

im afraid the media outlets have taken on to you.
