Sounds like he his lost his rag because he's been asked about the "six or seven clubs" quote from last week's press conference. Maybe he shouldn't have given the press the quote in the first place.

What should he have done then? What the fuck does it matter who he spoke to last season? He's there to answer questions about Ajax and the CL, not to be harassed about something fucking trivial.

It's not rocket science. He could've last week "i'm not talking about paper speculation from last season. we're here to talk about west ham." he didn't, he tried to be clever, and now he's complaining that he's still being asked about it. If you spin this as a positive move from Roberto then you're just wrong.

He made a tongue in cheek remark as a way of dismissing the question. The reporters should be told before the presser by our media team that Mancini will not be answering questions regarding that.

I'm not spinning anything, I'm posting on a fucking forum ffs and I'm saying what I saw that's all.

Being provocative is their bread and butter. People want to read about Mancini 'losing it'. It makes a name for the journalist and sells column inches. It's a cynical world, Bob needs to understand that the press would rather talk about Balotellis underpants than formations he might deploy against Ajax.

Mancini couldn't care less about what the press thinks, this goes a lot deeper.

He feels he is being left hung out to dry and getting little support from the people that do matter.

Bobby is picking battles with the wrong people and most worringly, he is actively do so.

Is this guess work?

Who's he picking battles with?

Bobby is seemingly on a death wish, rubbing people inside and outside the club the wrong way.

He knows he is in strong position because of his new contract and doesn't give a fuck.

Mancini has dealt on a daily basis with the Italian media for 25 years, the British pack pales in comparison.

He is a very clever guy and having observed similar scenarios play out, elsewhere, the manager is trying to reassert his authority for a reason, which can be dangerous.

About time someone at the club did in all honesty

Ferguson wouldn't put up with and as much as i hate the twat hes right, ever since Mancini has arrived he been made to answer some provocative questions.Vicky Kloss needs to protect him more in my opinion.
The thing is, not one article written in a paper or question asked in a press conference or bile spouted by pundits has affected our rise. They can all say and do as they please for me because it makes no difference in the grand scheme of things.

The press have tainted him ever since he came to City, he has to answer in virtually every press conference stupid questions not related to the match that the press conference is about. The press have smelt blood from the day he arrived-he managed to rightly shut them up in winning the PL but they are circling again because we are on the brink of going out of the CL.

Trouble is theres an element of our own fans who are now sticking the knife in because we have drawn 0-0 at West Ham and more than likely going out of the hardest group in the CL.

There are 3 PL clubs at present who are having bigger problems than MCFC but the vultures are circling over Carrington.

From the BBC website:

FOOTBALL
BBC Sport's Juliette Ferrington, who has been at Manchester City's news conference this morning ahead of Tuesday's crucial Champions League game against Ajax, on Twitter: "Mancini without a number of players tomorrow night. Silva, Lescott, Richards, Milner, Rodwell & Maicon ruled out.
and then:

FOOTBALL
More from BBC Sport's Juliette Ferrington on Twitter from the Manchester City news conference this morning: "[City boss Roberto] Mancini was angry being asked again about considering moving clubs last season. Mancini: 'I don't understand why you continue to ask me (about) last year, last month. This is finished. Why? Why, for which reason? Why do you continue to ask me, 'Last year you had a chance to go? I stay here because my work is here.'"

I was at the ground this morning at 9.25 to get my ticket for Wigan and the vultures were gathering then, about 10 or 12 of them standing outside having a smoke!! Bet they were getting their questions sorted out between themselves. Could just imagine the scenario: "Well you ask him about the offers he got last season because I asked last week and they can't ban us both." That is how they get round the Ferguson type banning. Bacon face might know how to handle them but they have also learned how to counteract other clubs' attempts to do the same thing!!! IMHO
