Mancini said he’d drive the bus down the Mancunian way and tear down that banner and he did! He got us, the fans.
Pep is brilliant but he doesn’t seem to have grasped yet that we don’t want to hear that Barca were a great team, that we are not a big club (we are), that we don’t have ‘istory (we do). He doesn’t get us, the fans, yet. We have to keep chipping away at him until he gets that he is not doing us a favour, he is becoming part of our history and then he will be one of the best managers we have had. :-) JMHO

Mancini was nicknamed bobby manc for a reason.

He gave out an aura that felt like he could have come from here and been a blue all his life.

Pep feels like he is more about his commitment to the project and his mission to bring his style football to many leagues as possible.


I appreciate both of them though and feel gratefull to have had both manage us.

I'm impressed that people are still trying to attribute this to his record - the club allowing it to be leaked the morning of the cup final and the players that downed tools on him are responsible for that particular debacle.

Next you'll be blaming him for the signings of Rodwell, Sinclair and Maicon........... ;-)
