I love the myth that bacon face doesn't spend big and promotes 'in house'.

For someone who's been in charge for 25 years and has an amazing youth policy I find it hard to fathom that he's never produced a striker of note (if welbeck was that good why would he have to pay top dollar for a 29 year old? Additionally, any young striker would do well alongside Rooney and RVP). He has never produced a goalkeeper either......... 25 fucking years of running one club and not a single goalkeeper of note, or forward.

As for Mancini, I have absolutely no idea why any Blue would question him - spoilt brats. Mind you, there are Rags who question Ferguson!

Because with mancini in charge It's (my opinion) gonna do a lot of damage and take us a lot longer to be self sufficient.

Understanding how the club works isn't shortsighted though. Is it. Shortsighted is being ignorant of how any club, not just ours, conducts its business. Roberto may put pressure on the Board for them to buy certain players but if the Board don't sanction the spend it doesn't get spent. As happened, allegedly, in the summer with Hazard and Van Persie. Not difficult is it?

Performance and under performance is never done to just one thing. We've under performed this season for a variety of reasons. Shockingly not all of them are down to the manager.

poor man management, the best squad of players we`ve ever had under performing, no pace in the side, strange team selections and substitutions, no plan B, poor pressing, slow build up making our forwards less effective because we`ve given the opponents time to get back and organise.

Educated guess based on champs league failure if he gets em i can't see it happening without the cost of an even smaller squad.
