If it is only 3 then I'd go with
Eden Hazard - attacking midfield
Javi Martinez - defensive midfield/centre half
Falcao - striker
These three would be good enough to play each match but Mancini will need to alternate next season and take into account injuries/suspensions and loss of form. YaYa may go to the African Nations Cup once more.
We also will have higher expectations to manage and need to perform better on the European stage. If Chelsea can get to the Final is there any reason why we cannot or should not, and in one match...
We still need to move players on. Hopefully Adebayor, Bridge and Santa Cruz find new clubs and come off the wage bill.
Maybe Tevez and Johnson will want to go for their own reasons.

Falcao's all round game and in particular his heading ability.
No guarantee that Balotelli will stay for next season.

I know I saw it earlier in this thread but has anyone thought of Nilmar and Giusseppi Rossi?
Villareal have gone down in Spain and are likely to need some money and will sell cheap. If we can't pull in any big names, why not make the smart decision? These guys are talents, and haven't had the greatest of years, but putting them in a side already having won a championship should make them less likely to complain about playing time considering where they could be.
They looked decent in CL this year. I'm just trying to be realistic about targets because we won't be dropping huge sums anymore, maybe once a season. Cheap players who fit into a side are what we need. Rossi can drop deep and come up and attack, and well, Nilmar, if we need a replacement, can do a job. Plus two players with a good influence from La Liga could befriend Silva who for some reason seems very alone.

I think I was evident from Sundays performance without Yaya in the middle we struggle to break through teams, despite silva and nasris passing ability I still believe we need like a BRAIN in midfield, someone who can unlock defenses. Martinez looks a possibility as he posseses various qualities aswel as fitting in comfortably at centre half. I wouldn't look any further than Modric, imagine him and yaya alongside each other! Toni kroos could also be an option, young and full of potential. Hazard looks like he's on his way which would provide us another dimension to our game, he posseses raw pace and also great leadership skills for a 21 year old! Still believe we should go for another defender to provide competition for places with joleon and clichy. Vertonghen fits the bill as he plays alongside Vincent for belguim and clearly would add pace, leadership and flexibility as he can also fit in at left back, I here spuds are close to a deal but let's hope Vincent is in bobbys ear.

there are a bunch of players we could be interested in - the likely problem (other than Hazard) is whether they'll be available.
I reckon RVP's leaving the Arse, but I've no idea if we'd be interested in looking at him to add to our already impressive collection of Gooners.
Dzeko is someone I'd like to see get another season, especially with new squad enhancements, but I guess we'll know soon enough if he's heading back to the German league or possibly even Serie A?

Baines would be a really good signing if he accepted the rotation, we could rotate with a lot less anxiety. Baines was a agreed last summer but for some reason fell through, I wouldn't be surprised to see us linked with him again. Hazard we can assume (after his recent comments) is City bound.
