Mancini rumour

Probably because of thyat bloody idiot James Cooper with his negative slant on everyting and constantly asking ridiculous questions.

He really is a total tit, I would kick him out of the conference.

Got himself well in with the club. Apart from being Sky's "Man in the City" (bleeuuurgh) he also does a fair bit for us, he does media training with the kids at the academy, has hosted the evening with Bobby, one of the end of season award ceremonies and spends a lot of time hanging round the club. A dangerous game if he ain't fully tamed.

When I asked if Mancini went along with this club policy they were very non committal......the inference was that he didn't and I expect a parting of the ways sooner rather than later...............when I put that to them they declined to confirm one way or another. The inference was that he didn't, and I expect a parting of the ways sooner rather than later. (I FOR ONE HOPE SO ANYWAY).

Ahh, the underbelly of the fifth column ;o)

I was in discussion with two ex blues players/legends the other night about our transfer policy (I don't want to name names as they asked me not to).

The 'club' is adamant that they are going to develop youth and this is a long term project not involving super star purchases. The emphasis is on the youth teams and players currently out on loan.

Ok. I'll go first. Bullshit.
Unless of course they're looking to win fuck all and trying to entice Alan Curbishley out of retirement.

Somehow i think if Falcao said "City, come get me!" and Atletico need another £35-40m i think we'd send an email.

Long term the Youth set up is the way to go, but the emphasis is on Long Term, it wont start to bear fruit for quite a few years, in the meantime?

I doubt any ex players really know the intentions of the club, City as a club are rather a different animal than the leak prone one we used to know

I am friends with an ex player of some note and he knows as much as the fans, yes they have a network of rumours as well but are not privy one bit to what the policy of the club is apart from its very obvious that the Academy is fore front in the plans but that is hardly a secret

I have deducted that because you comment on every single matchday thread, you live nowhere near Manchester and so the people that you had this discussion with also live nowhere near Manchester, I'm guessing the Whitley brothers.
