Is it actually possible for Mancini to utter a single sentance without the word "important" in it? It's worse than Hughes with his "obviously"s.

I imagine him at home with his wife:

"What do you want for tea, love?"

"Well, eet is imprtant we av meat. So a pie is good, No? eet is imprtant we av ze gravy too, as well"

We should have Roberto doing press conferences and interviews in Italian with subtitles - I'm intrigued as to whether 'important', 'good player' appear in his mother tongue with the same frequency as he uses them in English.

No but the word important is virtually the same in Italian so whereas he wouldn't use the word as much in his mother tongue he will when he speaks in english as he is confident of it's meaning and can verbalise it fairly well.
I have a few Michel Thomas language tapes and he uses the similarities in language to build ever more complex sentences, christ I'm bring myself now

I don't understand, in my view and many other City fans as well, Yaya Toure is our player who fits the "Vieira", only younger of course

As a player YaYa is our Vieira, but he hasn't got the same legendary status as him, but then nobody else does that is still playing!

Perhaps Pique (CH) at Barca could go on to achieve similar level of success when he signs for us next season
- but he is certainly not Patrick Vieira.

Perhaps Moussa Sissoko or Fellaini could be possible targets for next season

Ehh? :s

First of all what makes you think we'll be signing him/he'll be leaving Barca, and secondly why compare a central defender to Vieira?

I'm not ITK, I hope we sign him - excellent defender and Home grown to boot.

I mentioned him as I can see him picking up loads of trophies in his career.

World Cup, Euro Cup, La Liga title, Prem etc as a poster had mentioned previously
