I'd be surprised if Given didn't play in a least the Carling Cup. I'd also say there's a high probability he'll play in the FA Cup. He can't demand a transfer or loan though. Does anyone know whether if we loan him out with a 24 hour recall clause we can include him in our 25? So that should Hart get injured we could call Given back and he could play? If not it'd be pointless.

Why is everyone worrying? He's not going to sit on the bench forever so the way I see it is if we loan him out with a recall clause then that means were not selling him just yet, so he can still be our backup keeper for at least another year or so...
