Mancini should recieve more credit.

I hate to Admit it but I was beginning to doubt mancini around the time of the arsenal game, the team appeared to lack motivation and desire and it seemed as though we had thrown away the title with are horrific away form following the turn of the new year.

However it was the weeks following this game where Roberto really showed how good a manager he is, he motivated the players, got us playing some great stuff and absolutely destroyed the rags with his mind games. His tactics were spot on as we saw at newcastle when he pushed yaya forward. It was definitely mancini who won us this title and I will absolutely back him to do it again. In his two and a half year spell he's spent a lot of money but he's won two trophies which is brilliant. I never should've doubted him and I hope we snap him up on a long term contract.

Fuck the lot'a'ya, enjoy!

Trust me, we're all enjoying the 'glorious present'.
Some of us have waited a long, long, time to have reasons to celebrate as we are doing now and when I saw Roberto's happy smile on top of that bus, if I could have reached him I would have kissed him!
I've criticised things that I saw - and still see - as errors all through his time with us and find it hard to believe that so many on here didn't see the same faults. Is it down to poor eyesight, youth, or some kind of agenda, that we seem to have so many aggressive happy clappers among us?
Interesting question. I think it's down to the fact that the errors you saw weren't errors at all.

I think that what really occured is that you were wrong, what you said was wrong, what you implied was wrong, you have no football intelligence, you apparently don't understand the game at all, or our club and where it is heading, you have no idea what is going on now, and since what you said was clearly wrong all along, it's very probable that what you say in the future is also going to be wrong.

That seems to me a better explanation than accusing everyone who thought we were on the right track of being happy clappers after we just won the Premier League, which sort of proves that we were on the right track like many of us thought.

It's like a scientific experiment, where you propose a thesis, and then see if the results of the experiment support it. The experiment was the Premier League season. We won it under Mancini. Which proves that what he did was right. People who supported him were right. The results prove it. The results proved you wrong. You can't argue about it now or take shots at the people who were proven right without looking rather silly, or driven by some twisted agenda.
It's blindingly obvious to any fair minded observer.

You and your buddies are laughable. I laugh at you!

And I laugh at your bilious post, in which the only fact is that we won the League; the rest being just your opinion which is no more a fact than mine.

You seem to be trying to claim that Mancini made no mistakes. You can't be serious! The season was littered with them. If not for that, with these players, we would have sailed away with a year when our competitors were hampered by injuries and lack of cash for transfers, instead of us being on the rack until the final minute.
Mate you're obviously orbiting the planet Zog somewhere in deep space with comments like 'You seem to be trying to claim that Mancini made no mistakes. You can't be serious! The season was littered with them.' Which top flight team in history has ever gone a whole season with a perfect record? Are you for real?

Our record last season was far from perfect, but it was more perfect than 19 other teams in the Premiership hence Champ16ns 2011-2012!!!

As for injuries, we had loads and suspension and the ACN to deal with which didn't affect ManUre!!! So what if we've got the better medical team.... Once again wasn't our once attrocious injury record one of the first things that Mancini complained about and changed because he was so concerned about it? Yup I recall all the threads about Mancini getting rid of time served Manchester City medical staff and bringing in his own from Italy, and now we're reaping the benefits of Mancini's wisdom you're calling us lucky? You're fuckin nuts mate, nuts I tell ya!!!

Do you really believe that? United for all there injuries posted one of their highest ever point totals and we still beat them.

We had the best attack and the best defence. We took 15 points out of 18 from the other teams in the top four. We won 6-1 at Old Trafford our nearest challengers.

Did Mancini make mistakes maybe, but clearly less than any other manager. His decisions were vindicated by us winning the Premiership for the first time in 44 years, our ultimate goal for the season.

What justifies your criticisms?

OK... here goes....

Mancini is the best manager we have had since Joe Mercer... NOBODY can deny this.

You may not like him, you may think other clubs managers are better... but he is the best CITY manager since Joe and will go on to eclipse even Joe's achievements.

in his FIRST FULL season he guided us to the promised land of the Champions League and WON our first trophy in 35yrs.

In his SECOND Season he guided us to our FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP in 44 yrs.

Sit back, 'drink it in'... and shut the fuck up about his suitability for this role.

Forza Mancini

yeah..

I definitely agree that Roberto made errors last season but the end result was us becoming the premier league champions and that is a monumental and unforgettable achievement. He created a winning mentality and brought trophies to the ultimate underdog and great underachievers of english football, even moreso than Newcastle United.

Roberto dealt with a lot of egos including Bellamy, Adebayor and Tevez. Only one remains prominent at the club and that is through the redemption of his performances last season, rather than his behaviour improving. He has also had to deal with the antics of Balotelli and Adam Johnson's "party lifestyle". He is ruthless and mimics Whiskey Noses take no shit policy with Stam, Beckham and Van Nistelrooy to name but three.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you've been on the pop.

For a start, I wasn't talking, as you seem to think, about our record through the season; I was talking about management mistakes. Our players overcame a lot in my view and they and our owners deserve a good deal of the credit for our success.

In your last paragraph, you complain about the injuries which we sustained and then go on to praise Mancini for the good job he has done in preventing them! Confused or what?
