Mancini should recieve more credit.

I can't help thinking that if things had been reversed, and United had been 8 pts behind with 6 games to go, and Fergie had managed to turn it around and win the title for United ... then the entire worldwide media would be hailing "Sir Alex" as a tactical genius and master of the "mind games", they'd be in awe at his ability to motivate his players, and be hailing him as one of the greatest managers ever.

When Mancini does it, they just say "Well, he almost blew it" and give "Manager of the season" to Alan Pardew.

So I think Roberto does deserve more credit that he has been given. Lets hope he gets it over the next few seasons.
I coulden´t agree more with you

Mate as I said Billy's got a brain the size of a peanut & he has yet to prove otherwise. He has imprisoned himself in the 'Mancini Out' penitentiary of his own making and has displayed the worst of all social traits imaginable by dogmatically digging his heels in when his points of view have (Champions League depending) all but collapsed and still he will not graciously concede.

Is he so scared of fellow Bluemooners taking the piss out of him for all internity that he'd rather inhabit this world of impasse and denial rather than admit he was mistaken regarding Mancini?

Also how can you describe anyone as a big Blue who wishes to see us lose just so he can be proved right that we've got the wrong manager? I'm sorry, but I have to call your judgement of his charachter into question.....

Wow. Dribble dribble, in between dribbling on his chin, has deduced that i'm imprisoned in 'Mancini Out' (not true), unable to graciously concede anything (not true), and the piece de resistance of that abortion of a post, I want City to lose so I can be proved right (obviously not true).

Double wow at dribble dribble accusing others of being dead from the neck up. Next time just piggy back on one of TMQ's hilarious preteen rants with the tried and tested "only this" and save yourself some embarrassment.

Silly Billy, the only embarassing thing I have to deal with is being associated with 'so called City fans' like you. With fans like you, who needs Rags eh?

The problem you have is not one of association, but one of comprehension.

definitely has got plenty of credit, and has got plenty more coming his way if we keep this up.

you know what Mancini wants?

success in Europe

I don't think he even cares about credit until then.

He doesn't strike me as the kind of man who sits back stroking his own ego and thinking "wow, what a great job I've done".

Yeh, can't comprehend why you bother supporting us at all. You just typify all that is wrong with the internet...

Why don't you write to the club and see if you can have me barred. Maybe send Ric a PM and see if he can give me a permanent ban from the forum too. It'll be great. You'll never have to read an opinion contrary to your own again, and I'll never have to waste the five minutes of my time I have done today engaging your natural charm and wit.

Sir Bob appears to want to be the best,
if he achieves his goals, City are in for one massive ride.

He's about as driven as they come. I imagine his priority next season will be to successfully defend the title, win a domestic cup, and get at least to the semi finals of the CL. David Platt said on TS the morning after the last day of the season that the goal this season was the league and the Q/F of the CL.
