Mancini should recieve more credit.

I think Billy is doing the decent thing, fair play to him but he was a different type of player, he wanted Klopp.

What's happened to the Maine protagonists, the ones Billy was getting his PM's off?

It's very rare in life that 100% of any group of people will all agree about any given subject. A small number of City fans don't agree with the majority opinion that Mancini is a brilliant manager. I can't for the life of me see why that should be such a big deal?

Both sides are as bad as each other. A bit convenient to expect one side to take the moral high ground now when they've been proved right and have the perfect opportunity to gloat. If we'd failed to win the title, the Mancini outers wouldn't have been any better.

They left the club...

I've been downgraded from a sad ****, snide, spineless little wretch, to just a dickhead in the space of a few pages so I must be headed in the right direction!

I figured that coming from a blue you've no time for on a forum of blues you've no time for, on a subject you're clearly the expert on, that you wouldn't even notice the names.

Still, at least you've got a name on BM now eh, Bill? But what a price to pay!

Just imagine though, had Aguero not scored that goal you could be lording it on here like some kind of divine God rather than coming across as bitter.

We all know you're waiting for the day Mancini fucks up so you can shout out loud 'I WAS RIGHT' but it's caused quite an ugly conflict of interests.

The good news is that Red Cafe should more than welcome more posters who believe Mancini simply bought the league and that even then we were very lucky.

The question you should be asking yourself right now is "can he laugh at himself" - and in the answer to that question you'll find the reason why this thread and in particular your contributions are quite so entertaining to me.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off out for a pint of bitter!

I'm glad I entertain you! It's a large part of my purpose.

Peace and love to you

Trust me, we're all enjoying the 'glorious present'.
Some of us have waited a long, long, time to have reasons to celebrate as we are doing now and when I saw Roberto's happy smile on top of that bus, if I could have reached him I would have kissed him!
I've criticised things that I saw - and still see - as errors all through his time with us and find it hard to believe that so many on here didn't see the same faults. Is it down to poor eyesight, youth, or some kind of agenda, that we seem to have so many aggressive happy clappers among us?
Interesting question. I think it's down to the fact that the errors you saw weren't errors at all.

I think that what really occured is that you were wrong, what you said was wrong, what you implied was wrong, you have no football intelligence, you apparently don't understand the game at all, or our club and where it is heading, you have no idea what is going on now, and since what you said was clearly wrong all along, it's very probable that what you say in the future is also going to be wrong.

That seems to me a better explanation than accusing everyone who thought we were on the right track of being happy clappers after we just won the Premier League, which sort of proves that we were on the right track like many of us thought.

It's like a scientific experiment, where you propose a thesis, and then see if the results of the experiment support it. The experiment was the Premier League season. We won it under Mancini. Which proves that what he did was right. People who supported him were right. The results prove it. The results proved you wrong. You can't argue about it now or take shots at the people who were proven right without looking rather silly, or driven by some twisted agenda.
It's blindingly obvious to any fair minded observer.

You and your buddies are laughable. I laugh at you!

And I laugh at your bilious post, in which the only fact is that we won the League; the rest being just your opinion which is no more a fact than mine.

You seem to be trying to claim that Mancini made no mistakes. You can't be serious! The season was littered with them. If not for that, with these players, we would have sailed away with a year when our competitors were hampered by injuries and lack of cash for transfers, instead of us being on the rack until the final minute.

I think Khaldoun's interview and particularly what he said about the immediate aftermath of the Arsenal game proves that the 'Dead Man Walking' ITK brigade were either wumming and just making shit up, or else their 'inside source' was spoon-feeding them a line of pure bullshit which they couldn't wait to gobble up and then regurgitate on here.
The fact is, Mancini has made fools out of them for the second consecutive summer.
As the saying goes, Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me
...

At least you said it better than George W Bush managed it! ;)

BillyShears. The cancer that keeps on spreading.

Hahaha. You boys are doing a bang up job of showing how bitter i am.
We don't need to show you shit, you're doing a good enough job on your own!!!

I can just imagine you with your face all screwed up thinking how clever you are that you've found an attentive audience prepared to listen to your infantile bile. Deep down you know you've made a **** of yourself, but you'd rather die than admit you were mistaken regarding Mancini!!

Cue the 'Bluemoon. The gift that keeps on giving.' quotes.... You comfort yourself with the thought in your peanut sized brain that you're winding us up for your personal amusement and that we're all falling for it, but the truth is that you're at the centre of the ever decreasing circle, but your bloody mindedness wont free you from the Mancini Out prison of your own making.

Bluemoon may be 'The gift that keeps on giving', but you are the village idiot who keeps on worrying the rest of us!!! You need to give it a rest mate and retire to a darkened room for a lie down.............. PS: Don't forget to take you medication before you lie down........................
Ouch! That's gotta sting. TMQ just handed you your arse then this, you should fuck right off from this forum mate, Citys the best team in the land like youve sung for years. Time to acknowledge it man

Having met Billy I can categorically state that he is a big blue and does not have a brain the size of a peanut.

He has also previously displayed an ability to admit he was wrong which is a characteristic I always admire in people.

I rate Mancini as a manager, but most of all I've nearly always maintained (apart from after the Arsenal game) that he's a lucky manager. That is why we won the league in his charge. A combination of talent and luck: two things all too absent from this football club over the last 30 years.

He has to take absolute credit for delivering the title; that is what being manager allows you to do. I would't swap him for any manager in world football: he gets City; the football last season was exhilarating; and the team spirit and never say die attitude was clear for all to see.

Forza Mancini.
Mate as I said Billy's got a brain the size of a peanut & he has yet to prove otherwise. He has imprisoned himself in the 'Mancini Out' penitentiary of his own making and has displayed the worst of all social traits imaginable by dogmatically digging his heels in when his points of view have (Champions League depending) all but collapsed and still he will not graciously concede.

Is he so scared of fellow Bluemooners taking the piss out of him for all internity that he'd rather inhabit this world of impasse and denial rather than admit he was mistaken regarding Mancini?

Also how can you describe anyone as a big Blue who wishes to see us lose just so he can be proved right that we've got the wrong manager? I'm sorry, but I have to call your judgement of his charachter into question.....

As for luck, I believe we make our own luck in this world. I spent years observing all kind of silly rituals, praying, wearing lucky tops the lot in order to assist Manchester City to no avail. But last year I decided, fuck it, I can no longer be a slave to this stupid idea of luck!! I saw it like this; I go to the matches, buy the merchandise, pay my Sky subscription and have taken years of shit from Rag mates and colleagues for Manchester City and for what?

Low and behold I stop believing in luck and place my faith in Mancini and his skill as a manager and Manchester City win the FA Cup and this season go one better and win the Premiership!!! Like I said mate you make your own luck in this world and Mancini has made his.......

Now that is one very raggy sounding post !

I call bullshit. Winning the PL is not easy. There are bound to be mistakes, ups and downs along the way

89 points is a very good total which will in all likely hood be enough to win it again next season.

Forza Mancini !

You are perfectly entitled to call my judgment of his character into question. I certainly don't claim infallibility when it comes to sussing people out, however I have met him and I thought it was worthwhile giving my ha'penneth on that basis.

Moreover, he has accepted that he has been wrong on stuff in the past ( as have I) which I believe marks him in stark contrast with certain other posters. Again, I thought that was worth commenting on as it is relevant to this thread.

As to Mancini and his luck, I think you misunderstand me. I agree that you make your own luck. I see being lucky as a virtuous thing; all great mangers are lucky ones for the reasons you outlined. Napoleon famously said give me a lucky general over a talented one any time; and what he meant by that (I believe) is that to be lucky is to be talented and successful.

So, yes Mancini has made, and deserves his luck. May he continue to be lucky. Like I said, I wouldn't swap him for any manager in the world.

Apart from maybe Big Sam ;-)
