Which proves that what he did was right. People who supported him were right. The results prove it. The results proved you wrong. You can't argue about it now or take shots at the people who were proven right without looking rather silly, or driven by some twisted agenda.

I rate Mancini as a manager, but most of all I've nearly always maintained (apart from after the Arsenal game) that he's a lucky manager. That is why we won the league in his charge. A combination of talent and luck: two things all too absent from this football club over the last 30 years.
He has to take absolute credit for delivering the title; that is what being manager allows you to do. I would't swap him for any manager in world football: he gets City; the football last season was exhilarating; and the team spirit and never say die attitude was clear for all to see.

You seem to be trying to claim that Mancini made no mistakes. You can't be serious! The season was littered with them. If not for that, with these players, we would have sailed away with a year when our competitors were hampered by injuries and lack of cash for transfers, instead of us being on the rack until the final minute.

As for luck, I believe we make our own luck in this world. I spent years observing all kind of silly rituals, praying, wearing lucky tops the lot in order to assist Manchester City to no avail. But last year I decided, fuck it, I can no longer be a slave to this stupid idea of luck!! I saw it like this; I go to the matches, buy the merchandise, pay my Sky subscription and have taken years of shit from Rag mates and colleagues for Manchester City and for what?
