How could we have kept hold of sixth place when we conceded 12 goals, all told, against Bolton Sunderland, Hull and Burnley. It honestly seemed to be getting worse under Hughes, not better, and that was reflected in his increasingly negative, can't-do pronouncements as the season went on.

against the same teams last year (and their equivalent) we let in 27 goals and scored 25
this year we have let in 27 goals but score 33
hence 9 more points

I think our owners would see 6th as a failure as it means we can't get the players in to get us to the next level, effectively a year down the drain in terms of their 'project'

Lol, of course its conjecture, this board is all about opinions. My opinion is that we've been going backwards since the start of the season there was no sign of it turning around.

A bit cheap twisting my words there Squirty, I certainly haven't accepted the loss of this season, I would cut my season ticket up if that was the case.
