as much as i hate the **** he is quite a good pundit, speek's a lot of sense and he does know his football, plus its a bonas to here him saying good stuff about us ...

i still hate the **** though!

He's a bit wooden in interviews at the moment and speaks a bit too fast but he's good as a pundit. Knows his stuff tactically.

Anyone else see he's applied for planning permission to open a restaurant in Swinton? Got to be called "Feed The Goat" surely.
 
I think people are mistaking positivity about us with being a good pundit. It's not the same thing.

He was really really nervous and he needs to get over that if he's going to last. He also looked terrible. That suit, the loose tie, the greasy hair, the sparse 'tache, the tugging at his pants and the sweating made him look like a paedophile applying for a school caretaker's job.


Really great to see him creaming himself over MCFC though... That's priceless!

Almost makes me want to subscribe to SKY. Almost.

Just got around to watching this on Sky+... Not arguing on how he looked, totally agree with the above, especially his hair, which i couldnt stop looking at, wash and a shave next time Gury

However, i do think he made sense, the odd gaff but it was his first effort, you could see he was nervous, the dry mouth etc and i was quite impressed with how he analysed things, he certainly rates Dave Silva, it was better than anything Shearer, Crooks, Lawrenson, Merson, Thompson could come out with, but that isnt saying much... time will tell if he is good or not

I even said out loud that he was alright for a first effort, i didnt just think it, although i am being made to feel like a **** now as 'saying something is far worse than thinking it' apparently, my mate reckons he has thought about killing his wife loads of times and that is alright (we all have evil thoughts he says) and if he killed her then he would be in trouble... he is equating that to saying Red Nev is alright and not thinking it...

Anyhow i am off for a shower as i feel dirty after saying it... he has a point i guess...

Hated him as a rag, but he didn't let his emotions get in the way of decent punditry

LOL - he was joking mate and a technicality is that he doesnt actually have a wife just a girlfriend... i should have made it a bit clearer that he was just giving me shit for saying Neville was alright (i only said alright, not even good!!!) but he hates him more than his 'wife' so i am apparently, sporn of satan etc etc
