We're older and wiser mate, well older in my case.

Certainly not wiser in either of your cases.
GDM sees fence-sitting as a default setting.
You sit on the fence so long, you get splinters in your arse, and then the fence collapses.
It explains why he's a liberal.
I just don't see the point in having unbending view point on a fluid situation, when its something I have absolutely no control over.

My views on RM and MP .......

Mancini was absolutely fantastic for city. If anything we were guilty of being too predictable at times. Our build up was too slow - at the cup final it was clear to see he had lost some of the players. The one thing we did have was a very strong base. In his tenure as manager I felt our defending was exceptional with our goals against record very healthy. And let's not forget the fortress that eastlands became.

Pellegrini has only just started. Like everyone else we all hope he goes on to become even more successful than RM. what has surprised me is our defending and shape on occasions. Even last year we missed Kompany, any team would miss him and not replacing kolo so far isn't ideal. But the bigger worry for me is the formation. It looks like a 4-2-4 to me and the midfield is being over-run. In recent seasons the pundits have talked about city's physical strength in midfield. I'm not seeing that at the moment. It's possibly down to the absence of Barry. Personally find the treatment of him a bitter pill to swallow. Also thought it was a questionable call to put Garcia on the bench ahead of Rodwell today. I think he has a bright future and deserves a place on the bench.

Like I said its early days - but early signs we have lots of work to do.
Moronic post..surprised it hasn't been pulled from the get go

It's a discussion forum as evidenced by 20 pages of comments - if you don't like it don't comment.

Maybe mancini v Pellegrini was the wrong thread title but i was only commenting on difference in tactics, formations etc so far.

Would be interested to know what part of my post you have any problem with - its a forum say what you don't agree with?
Pellegrini is 3 games in and your comparing him to someone who was 3 and a half years into the job.

No mention of pellegrini not falling out with key players like Bellamy, hart etc right from the start?

Propaganda designed to dirt the reputation of our new manager, that's all your op is

He's got a long way to be to be as good at that as I am. Mum and dad have been in London today, but they're on their way back right now and I'm staying here tonight.

Can't wait to see the old bastard ;-)
Aye, he's not as loud and brash as you is he? Unless he's just shy? Maybe he's loud and brash on the internet though and that's how he takes after you - by having an internet persona.

Enjoy my friend.

I never adopt an unbending viewpoint mate.
But actually having a viewpoint is always a good starting point.
I'm just awaiting instructions from the intelligentsia as to when it is ok to be concerned about our lacklustre start.
Because I get the distinct feeling that if we had played as poorly as we did in the Cardiff game under that guy who used to manage us, then the natives would have been revolting, and the current incumbent has an even stronger squad at his disposal.

So do I, the unbending view point wasn't aimed at you, trust me I was seriously pissed off yesterday, the first half we were shit and I was sat in a tee shirt freezing my bollocks off which didn't help my mood. I just think its to early to give an informed opinion, I know what you uninformed one is.

I've already said: the end of October.

Point of order. You told me it was after the Stoke game.
I was being ....errr.......ironic.

I think your comments border on the moronic - I have no agenda against MP. It is only 3 games and we'll have a much better idea of where we are after the next 2 games but you are talking garbage tbh.

PS being such a big city fan I'm surprised you've never listened to Bellamy saying he regrets the way he never gave Mancini a chance due to the treatment of Hughes. But if it helps your petty argument hey ho
