Yeah, but saying preposterous things is just Ducado's mannerism.

I suspect this thread has now run its course.
What have I said to GDM?
When you met me at City Square you suggested my posting output might be an internet persona. I'm really not bothered, but anyone who knows me will confirm that, regrettably, what you see on here is very much what you get in the real world :-)
Well in my defence many people are rather different in real life than they are on here I apologise if I offended you in anyway

Don't worry, I'm coming to terms with it ;-)

It's the only sensible stance to take.
I agree far to often people allow themselves to be painted into a corner and then find themselves stuck
We're older and wiser mate, well older in my case.

Certainly not wiser in either of your cases.
GDM sees fence-sitting as a default setting.
You sit on the fence so long, you get splinters in your arse, and then the fence collapses.
It explains why he's a liberal.

The look of nonplussed astonishment will live long in my memory, you looked like a ten year old asked to do a bit of calculus. What had been said to you clearly was unfathomable to you. Very funny. Anyway, guessing your lad enjoyed the game. You're doing sterling work there by getting him hooked so late on in life.

He loved it. He properly got the bug now. He talks of little else most of the time. We both went mad together when Sturridge scored earlier, so he's really getting his priorities right too :-)

My views on RM and MP .......

Mancini was absolutely fantastic for city. If anything we were guilty of being too predictable at times. Our build up was too slow - at the cup final it was clear to see he had lost some of the players. The one thing we did have was a very strong base. In his tenure as manager I felt our defending was exceptional with our goals against record very healthy. And let's not forget the fortress that eastlands became.

Pellegrini has only just started. Like everyone else we all hope he goes on to become even more successful than RM. what has surprised me is our defending and shape on occasions. Even last year we missed Kompany, any team would miss him and not replacing kolo so far isn't ideal. But the bigger worry for me is the formation. It looks like a 4-2-4 to me and the midfield is being over-run. In recent seasons the pundits have talked about city's physical strength in midfield. I'm not seeing that at the moment. It's possibly down to the absence of Barry. Personally find the treatment of him a bitter pill to swallow. Also thought it was a questionable call to put Garcia on the bench ahead of Rodwell today. I think he has a bright future and deserves a place on the bench.

Like I said its early days - but early signs we have lots of work to do.
Moronic post..surprised it hasn't been pulled from the get go

...unlike your contribution, which is a veritable smorgasbord of opinion and insight.
Care to expand on just what is wrong with it?

It's a discussion forum as evidenced by 20 pages of comments - if you don't like it don't comment.

Maybe mancini v Pellegrini was the wrong thread title but i was only commenting on difference in tactics, formations etc so far.

-- Sun Sep 01, 2013 6:19 pm --

Would be interested to know what part of my post you have any problem with - its a forum say what you don't agree with?

Good stuff. He can also join his father in winding up his grandfather.

He's got a long way to be to be as good at that as I am. Mum and dad have been in London today, but they're on their way back right now and I'm staying here tonight.

Can't wait to see the old bastard ;-)
