Mancini wants 4 in!

I think it will be 4 plus tevez replacement

I recon we will go for Fabregas, although I see it as pointless as he wants to go Barca, it will only ever be a short term move, if indeed it did happen.

Sanchez, seen a few vids on youtube, not overly impress if im honest, no doubt i'll get verbally raped for this opinion.

Mata, if he fits in as well as Silva it would be a fantastic move.

CB/LB Cahill/Baines/Belgium geezer who I am not going to attempt tp spell.

and to replace Tevez, Kun Aguero, Fantastic little player, watched a fair bit of him over last 2 yrs as we have been linked with him even since the investment.

I suppose its just a matter of wait and see for the time being...

Vertoghen: 12 Million
Modric: 25 million
Gervinho: 10 million
Usami Takashi: 2 million

Total expenditure 49 million: Sale of Adebayor, Tevez RSC Bridge SWP, Calciedo, Onuoha and Bellamy: Total income 74 million.

We don't need to overspend to restock. We just need to spend smart.

Ohh...i hope this doesn't end bad. Like Mancini leaving :(

4 players...i think we need 1 CB and 1 LB. And then maybe 3 signings...

But honestly...we might end up not getting them.

Get a grip guys for ffs

More made up bollocks from a rag of a paper

Oooooh his body language showed this, or he didn't mention so and so therefore their relationship is 'strained'!

Jeez, he didn't mention Doris the tea lady either so is she for the chop?
Thank god be didn't it went on long enough as it was

Well will you learn that this is all speculation?

!!!!
1 left back instead of kolarov (i hope try Onouha if not Baines is a good choice if not Fuchs/AlySissokho)
1 utility player e.g. Vertonghen (he can plays as LB/CB/DM/CM )
1 asian creative player who can play as AM kagawa/honda
1 goalkeeper if given goes (Al-Habsi)
I believe that Tevez will stay here but if he or balotelli goes(i hope) then Hulk/Sanchez is not bad choices

Am I missing something? With all the players we will be looking to ship out....Ade, Bridge, Bellers, Caicedo, Onuoha, and so on, surely bringing in only 4 players is tinkering?

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini flew to Abu Dhabi for talks with chairman
Khaldoon Al Mubarak as his relationship with Garry Cook and Brian Marwood continued to show signs of strain.

Mancini will try to convince Khaldoon of the need to spend ambitiously on at least four players this summer, rather than follow the more cautious approach recommended by the club’s chief executive Cook and football administrator Marwood.

The meeting will also be attended by Cook and Marwood and Mancini sees it as his chance to air his increasing frustration with them and assert his authority over transfer plans.

He will tell Khaldoon that City must buy a central defender, a right-sided midfielder, playmaker and striker.

Among the names on his list will be Bolton defender Gary Cahill and Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez.

Cook and Marwood believe the club must wait to sell players before they commit to significant spending, as they are worried about UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.

However, Mancini is convinced that this will lead to City failing to sign key targets.

Although Mancini’s relationship with Cook and Marwood remains civil, it is understood that it is worsening.

On Monday it was noted that Mancini did not mention them in a speech to 30,000 fans at Eastlands, when he thanked players, staff, Khaldoon and owner Sheik Mansour for their roles in City’s success.

Meanwhile, Mancini is annoyed by suggestions that he gave wayward striker Mario Balotelli permission to skip the club’s FA Cup parade through Manchester on Monday. The manager insists this was not the case.

The Italian striker, 20, also missed the club’s Player of the Year dinner on Sunday night and flew home to Italy.

While Mancini and his players were celebrating at Eastlands on Monday, Balotelli was laughing and throwing water bombs at a meeting of Serie A club chiefs in Milan.

Italian TV showed him and his agent Mino Raiola at the traditional end of season meeting in Milan which is attended by players’ representatives to sound out possible transfers.

Balotelli’s image among City fans will not be helped by comments he made to an Italian TV station about the parade.

‘I didn’t understand the value of it,’ he said. ‘The fans were delighted, though. For them it’s worth almost as much as winning the Premier League.’

The striker said: “A return to Inter? I am not dreaming about Milan I am happy with Manchester.’

This comports with my determination of the areas of need. An LCD, a RW, AM and Striker.

LCD has to be Vertonghen as he would be relatively cheap and avoids the need to go for a specialist leftback. In short, Vertonghen for £12mill against Cahill and Baines for £35mill. Most of Vetonghens fee could come from the sale of Boateng if he leaves.

AM has to be Mata. Has already played with Silva can play on the left side of midfield, centre or as a second striker. Would cost around £25mill. Fee will be covered by the sale of Ade, Onouha, Bridge SWP etc

RW has to be either Sanchez, Neymar or Hazard. Neymar being the cheap option circa £9mill, Hazard circa £25mill and Sanchez circa £30mill.
I have no preference on the above TBH all would be an improvement on SWP!

Unless Tevez leaves then we don't need a striker.

If funds are tight and we have to go for a net spend of zero then Mata, Vertonghen and Neymar would be covered by the sale of all loanees (weiss excluded) SWP, Jo, Boateng, MJ. Though this might dissapoint many on here I actaully 3 additions as mentioned takes us forward and actually improves the squad.

Was that a typo, cause I cannot ever see Neymar being sold for £9 million. More like £26 million +, as Santos turned down £21 million last summer.

Thought he was in the last year of his contract, apologies if I'm wrong
