Mancini write-up by Didsbury Dave

had it not been for our owners we would not have had this success, so I guess we have to go with what they decide.

Our first trophy in nearly 40 years
Learning the language and culture of a new country
Overcoming the bias shown to Ferguson by referees and club managers
Dealing with a biased and untrustworthy press
Five trips to Wembley
An FA Cup Win
Our greatest Premiership ever, only our third after 120 years of trying
Charity Shield win
A couple of runners up positions
Having to deal with several problematic and egotistical footballers
Players who deliberately were"t trying on occasions
Incompetency from the likes of Marwood and Cook
Excellent relationship with the majority of fans

Only a major trophy in year one will be enough Mr Pellegrini

Do you think Mancini would have won a trophy next year if he'd stayed? Just interested. I don't think he would have done. I think we'd have slipped further adrift of the rags

Horrible font, almost got bad cat aids from it but what a piece of writing

Its amazing how people are still blinkered when the fracturing of the team was in front of everybody

good point Exeter Blue and I'd like to think we would, but not definite.

maybe a little harsh of me demanding that the new manager must deliver in year one.

just to edit, I should have said appeared not to be trying at times, hard to prove though

Don't worry Kismet all of the above is being erased from the record books and our history as we speak. It doesn't suit our new 'holistic' approach you see.
We need to be 'collective' and 'all in this together' to be successful. It's the future...

You need to get over the fact that Mancini is gone because he isn't coming back and sulking will not change anything

It was Francis Lee that said if there was a cup for cock up's City would win it every year and never a truer word was spoken!

Whoever owns the club we seem to keep on having this discord and badly handled stuff,it seems we can't eradicate it.

It should have been kept quiet until the season ended,it was TWO more games for fucks sake!Mancini could have then gone quietly in the summer and the new man come in and started work for next season.I would have preffered it said it was his last game just before Norwich and he could have been given a thank you from the fans instead of leaving us without a manager with two games to go,thank God for Kiddo sticking around!

Instead of an expected lap of honour and a celebration with the cup Sunday we know have a fucking wake!Typical City!

I think we should be able to criticise actions and decisions of the management. Its our club after all and if the consequence of the money is that we have to blindly accept what they tell us to accept then I'd rather be skint.

FWIW I think aspects of the sacking have been handled badly but I'm not going to criticise the club for the sacking itself.

12 months time it might be seen as a disastrous decision or hopefully an inspired one. Only then will people be in a position to say I told you so if thats the sort of thing they need to do.
