Think you are missing the point. If it had been written by anonymous we might have said interesting point of view but wrong. The fact we know the writer has been banging on like this for three years just makes it boring. And wrong.
But perhaps we should all move on. And maybe Dave would have been better off just leaving this piece unwritten. Or at least put in a few compliments to the departing man.

Curiosity. He is something of a legend in his own lunchtime. And I wanted to see if in a full page article he could shed any light on the whole Mancini saga.

I don't think that is relevant mate, to be honest.
I've known Dave for a long time and I still disagree with a lot of what he says...regularly.
I have have a diametrically opposed view of things...

In his interview after the Reading game Brian Kidd said Manchester City have been in a state of "shock" since the sacking of Roberto Mancini. Was he looking (and listening) the other way during every one of the incidents that made it obvious to Dave and his friends in the club that Mancini had alienated everyone and had to go?

The objection to "turd" is a head scratcher. It's a blog not a C.V., the Bard himself used it.
My feeling is he did not mention some critical technical issues like substitutions and reacting to problems on the pitch and favouritism.
