are insipid performances entirely down to the manager, why would highly paid top class professionals need motivating

They probably shouldn't need motivating but they certainly do not need demotivating and it is conceivable that the manager has demotivated some of them to an extent that has affected the team's performances adversely.

Have you just ignored my post completely?

This isn't about one game in isolation. It's about being fifteen points behind the red shite, out of the League Cup after facing the worst Villa side in years, out of the CL on record low points for an English side, it's about the arrogance and attitude of Mancini refusing to accept he's getting things wrong, his refusal to change things when they do go wrong, his blaming everything and everyone around him etc.

And to answer your irrelevant question, not every game, but I expect we should be able to win ANY game.

yes i read your post
No smart comments this time?

it was only a question nothing smart about it forgot the?

The unlimited funding which saw us fail to land ANY of Mancinis targets in the transfer window ?

A title winning squad that still had nearly £40m invested into it?

you wont blame anybody but mancini, that 40 mil would have been better spent on at least one of the players he wanted

Bob has had more money and backing in the transfer market than anyone with only PSG going anywhere near of late to matching.

Yes, I will blame the man paid to get the best out of the squad at his disposal when he seems incapable of doing so with increasing regularity.

Sadly i suspect he'll leave at the end of the season thanks to the same ***** who drove the prodigal son away.
The only person to blame is himself for his shite signings and tactics this season.

Remind me where are we in the league and FA cup again?

Well, we're in the semi final of the F.A. Cup..........THANK FOOK!! And we're a massive, shockin 15 points adrift of our nearest rivals.

Like how he wanted RVP yet he had already spent 100 million plus on strikers in the previous two seasons.

And yet we tried to sign RVP did we not. If the unlimited funds rubbish that was spouted was true then we would have signed him. I think some people are far too simplistic in their assessments and opinions in how a multi million pound business is run within a billion pound industry.

look at mancinis record for trophies since he has been at city compared to moyes....managers are judged on what they win not on individual battles against certain teams........mancini has won the fa cup, the league title and the charity shield.....moyes has won NOTHING!!!!!

compare the style of football the two teams play........id have mancini every time even if it means that we lose to everton ever season.....

moyes with us wouldnt have the same success in my opinion....you never know we may able to test this theory out soon cause it hink moyes is one of the possible candidates for the utd job if and when fergie goes

I loathe Moyes but comparing his trophy haul at Everton to Mancini's at City is fatuous.
