Mancini would be foolish not to explore opportunities in case he is sacked. He did last year with Monaco and Russia, so why not Zenit who would probably pay him even more than we do?

This story which broke in the English press last night is legit according to one of Italy's most ITK journalists. It doesn't mean he's going but might just be a possibility if we sack him.

You assume that Mancini would explore options in case of being sacked. The more likely scenario is that he would look elsewhere because he wants to. All this constant speculation about will we/ won't we sack Mancini is misguided. City aren't in the box seat. He is.

Not so at all. There are a very, very small number of managers in the world who could deliver a cup and a title in less than 3 years to a club who had won nothing since 1976. Mancini could pick a job much more easily than we could find a replacement.

The ADUG did their homework before appointing Mancini and only the completely unrealistic could say they got it wrong. It would cost millions to replace him and in the world of FFP that would mean any new man to come in would have to sell to buy. In other words starting again.

In the real world, we should be hoping he doesn't leave.

Second thoughts move it into the transfer forum.
This is where all these threads should be in my opinion, all of which, again in my opinion, are pure media shit stirring.

I didn't put it in there,as in theory,it isn't a transfer,IF,anything happens....feel free to move it though.
