if he IS sacked it will because an even longer term target comes available.

You've inadvertently hit the nail on the head there Bill. The truth is that with the appointment of the two Spaniards, Mancini's become a high grade stop gap until the dynasty builder, whoever he may be, becomes available. Sadly Mancini just isn't that guy.

I read a post on this thread which referred to Mancini as an A-List manager, WTF!!
He got sacked at Inter so that they could replace him with an A-List manager (Jose). He then spent time in the cold because no club would dare touch him after Inter (failed in CL however, won leagues without competition from Juve, AC or even a challege by AS Roma). This guy got lucky IMO.

Mark Hughes screwed up and he was at the right place at the right time and bingo we take him give him big wage and money to spend on players and a path back into management.

Mancini at best is a top C-List manager in my eyes and not an A-List manager.
...and right there is where you prove you either know fuck all or are a wum, or even both! I suggest you read up on... what's the word I'm looking for?... oh yeah.... facts!...before you make a comment or your mind up.

Cheers.

The threads full of them mate
If its not in graham hunters book or duncan castles tweets its called bollocks :)
I can take Billy, DD, OB1 and Tolmie's opinions in all honesty as at least there is often some decent reasoning behind it (except when it degenerates into the bollocks :)) But honestly, shit like that has got to be written either by an out and out wum or a fucking 4 year old.

how many clubs would jump at our recent trophy haul? or our manager? loads, absolutly loads. ok i accept they would have to be wadded but looking at where we were when he took over he's obviously good at his job. i stand by my support for hughes in that he actually took over a dog turd of a club and paved the way for mancini to progress.
our owners may make changes if they think further progress can't be made under bob but that wont raise its head till summer and thats how it should be.

How may clubs were after before we gave him a way back in management? his not rated as top mate. if we are to develop our youth team and promote players from youth team to first team and challenge at the top end he is not the way forward. his track record shows that he has no intention of working with youth. he wants money and more money to buy players on big big wages.

erm wasn't he forbidden to take another job for a year in line with his severence? or am i misinformed.

No your right, whereas zickler is one in a long line of attention seeking children confused about life.

He had a restrictive covenant in his termination agreement with Inter, much like Jose had after being sacked by Chelsea......

Glad Robbie cleared that up for you. Can you tell us the meaning of life now?
