Correct. He was out of a job less than two months. Which is fuck all in football management terms. He won't be short of a job if he leaves either. Monaco will take him and pay him more money. Oh what a failure...de niro said:erm wasn't he forbidden to take another job for a year in line with his severence? or am i misinformed.
Also, once again Mancini is blasted for not having the temerity to cheat. Oh what a ****, he managed the best team who didn't fix matches. It's the most ridiculous argument I've ever heard, the idea that the team who wins the league shouldn't be the best team who didn't fix matches. Then obviously Juve did get relegated but Inter absolutely massacred AC Milan who didn't get relegated. Even without the points deduction Inter would have beaten them by 28 points. They set a record that year, 97 points in Serie A. A then-European record of 17 back-to-back victories. Yeah, being a European record holder makes him a C-class manager. He then follows that up, now Juve are back. AC are still there. No points deductions, and Mancini still wins the title... It's absolutely absurd the idea that Mancini didn't win his titles. It's an excuse only used by those who are incapable of being fair-minded. It cannot be anything else. To say Mancini didn't win his titles, because the other teams fixed matches ... Basically then, you are saying match fixing should be an acceptable part of competition and it doesn't matter if you fix matches to win the title. It's absolutely pitiful how shamelessly this line is trotted out against Mancini. It was lucky that he didn't cheat; the ****.
