Mancini only acknowledged Silva yesterday in his substitutions.

I've never had Mancini down as a good man management kind of guy, i still haven't seen anything to change my mind.

We have no idea what goes on 'behind closed doors',however,on the evidence we witness,it's an attribute he struggles with as he comes across as a stubborn, moody, unpredictable character.

I couldn't agree more.

Although i can tell you 'stubborn' is the perfect word to describe him.

he should take a leaf out of the book of that nice flexible, open, affable scottish chappy in the suburbs of Manchester. His man management skills are apparently the best in the land and even worth a knighthood.......he's apparently not stubborn, moody or unpredictable like Bobby.........

Unpredictable? Mancini is the most predictable guy on the planet. You know exactly what you going to get with Mancini and it ain't going to be soothing words and a cuddle.

The fact he spent post game with Khaldoon and then came out to give Vincent a kicking suggests a man confident in his position or someone who doesn't give a fuck. Knowing Mancini its probably both. The scamp.

Well if you insist(again) on comparing him against the greatest manager of his era........

Ferguson has consistently gotten more out of players that,on the face of things, should not be good enough to be part of a Championship winning team.He instills a belief and a unity in his players that has to be admired.

I'm very aware how obnoxious and arrogant he can be,however,he also has the ability to be flexible towards the requirements of an individual as is evidenced by almost each and every player he has coached not having a bad word to say about him.

Contrast that with Mancini,he could find an argument in an empty room.

I wonder how much more he got out of his players in his first few years at United?
