Mancini

I think forevermancity didn't really think through the real world problem of cancer when posting and was trying to say that Mancini was a bad element in the club that spread in power over his time here.

No need to get all upset, we all misspeak and use the wrong words from time to time, and we all know that he wasn't literally comparing a football manager to cancer.

No problem we await the apology. But no he is too busy trying to be pedantic over St helens mentioning the word article.

Back on topic for me. Apologies if I offended anyone with my outburst but FMC used something that has effected my family so I wasn't happy.

Just read the "what the papers say" on the OSC. A little funny how the knives have come out after the last 2 games and the reporting of yesterdays game was a little bit over the top by some.
Mancini was a top bloke and a top manager. Whatever happened is in the past and if he has had a whinge then so be it.
Shit like this is printed to disrupt the club quite clearly and we need to just push on this week now. 3pts on Wednesday and all will be rosy

despite what people say about his management I think we can all agree that had he still be in charge we'd be a number of points clear right now.

Agree let it be.

Quite rightly the article has been timed to cause maximum damage. If it is true it does highlight Pellegrini was not first choice for the position. If we do not win the league (I still think we will) I hope regardless Pellegrini, for the same reasons I wanted Mancini to continue gets another season to tweak the team and squad.

Everything is in place for success and has been for a couple of seasons the thing we require now is clarity of thought and continuity of ideas.

He wasn't a "top bloke" to the people he worked with. That was the problem.

Ferguson wasn't exactly Father Christmas either but he got the job done. Expecting a manager in that mould to be perfectly fine with incompetence is self-defeating and unrealistic.

Many good managers are not in all honesty. The most successful manager of the last twenty years is a despicable character. Many have praised him others have criticised him, without being there on a daily basis we can only really judge the manager on results.
