The CL can become an unhealthy obsession. Just look at Chelsea jumping from one manager to the next none of them able to think about the long term and sticking with the old guard and not investing in the future.

Mancini's put together a squad capable of winning the PL and domestic cups, he's also got a talented bunch of young players to come through into the team and with the occasional acquisition and moving players on we'll grow stronger.

Let's not get obsessed by the CL it'll come to us in time.

The league has to be the priority. Spurs were brilliant in their CL campaign but failed to stay in the top 4 in the premiership. They could have ended up losing their best players and are lucky to be back in the top 4 mix this year. The league looks easy right now but it may look very different later on. There will be time for the CL after we know we can do it each year in the league.

Winning the league would be massive, massive for the players, club and supporters.

I don't think the Sheikh told him to win it yet. Been told to win the league, that's what he'll do. Dominate domestically for a few years, Champs League can wait.
