Mancini's selection and tactics

Garbage! We'll do exceptionally well to gt out of our group and even then it's likely we'll get Barcelona, Bayern München or Paris Saint Germain in the Round of 16. Plus second or third in the Prem, what's the difference? As long as we challenge for the title either are fine if we don't win it.

Stop worrying about what we wont achieve and what you class as failure. Concentrate on what we can challenge for and what we do achieve.

Plus your original question, what does it mean? It's vague as fuck. We've gone from being a 5th/6th placed quality team to champions under Mancini. Players have developed greatly in his time with us. But every game is different. Sometimes he gets things right, less often he eats things wrong. But what does greater than the sum of its parts mean? We're champions with what you say is the best squad. How can he better that?

FFS. What does his indigestion have to do with it? ;)

I am Mancinis biggest fan and its not all his fault I think we have had a poor summer in the transfer market.

The form of Silva, injury to Nasri, sale of Johnson has left us short of creativity in the midfield with reliance on a player like Sinclair who has never been tested at the highest level or with a big club with high expectations (chelsea not included).

Instead we have spent 35 - 40 million on Garcia and Rodwell, taking the number of potential holding players to four when the above area of the squad required strengthening.

For fuck sake.

We are literally the only club in the world who would have a manager win the title then immediately ask whether he's secretly shit.

We aren't turning into rags, we're turning into Chelsea fans.

Who has asked if he is secretly shit?. I am a Mancini fan but when you consider players like Milner are rarely used its worth debating whether we get the most out of our squad.

I think Dzeko when we are facing Mertezacker was the wrong choice today even though he played well. Dont think I have turned into a Chelsea fan I have been debating team selection since 1984. What do you discuss after the match?

Todays game was just not the game for me to be starting with Sinclair. If you take into consideration that Garcia has also only had a handful of games then we're going in against a rejuvenated Arsenal side with only two fully fledged midfielders and two new boys and I think it showed. I was happy enough to get a point from todays game and remain unbeaten.

its difficult after a summer championship, players coming back on the eve of the season, mancini is rotating toget everybody up to full speed, its like we are doing pre season,it will pay dividends as the season goes on,

too many fickle fans on bluemoon, hes either a genius or useless, depending on the last result.pretty pathetic if you ask me.

You stick to moderating badly and i'll stick to asking questions on a fans forum.

Simple question do you think Mancini's makes the team greater than the sum of its parts?

I think we have the best squad in the league; stronger than last year with Tevez for a full season and five quality new arrivals.

Anything less than top 2 and Champs League quarter finals should be classed as failure.

he's off his box but we have to trust him, he's been incredible for us.

weird choices at times though.
