Mancio to crack the whip?

I'm more worried about the teams closing the gap below us. Our performances have been under par and we have to finish 2nd. But at present it's not looking good.

Mancini has been claiming that he knows "what the problem is" and how to fix it for months. He IS problem, poor purchases, terrible substitutions, no plan b and a failure to motivate players.

With our resources and squad to be out of the league with 12 games to go is a disgrace.

Not only have we failed to win 18 times this season

In the 14 games against spurs, arsenal, rags, everton,Liverpool, Chelse,Madrid,Dortmund, Ajax

Ie the better of the sides we have faced, we have won 2 out of 14.

With rags, everton,Chelsea and arsenal still all likely to be in the Fa cup in QF it doesn't make us favourites does it.

Pah! A pah and a pshaw and a poo-poo to your facts sir!

That's shocking. For where our club is supposed to be this season that should almost be enough to show him the door on it's own! Criminal underachievement.

As I said on another thread, the next two weeks will determine A LOT.

FA Cup game against Leeds HAS TO be a HOME victory coming off this poor game at Soton and a D-D-L three game run...plus it is the ONLY game in town for us now.

Next week, we HAVE TO beat Chelsea at HOME, or the points difference is 1 POINT, with them having the momentum, and it has never been an easy game for us.

Also, I think it will determine WHICH PLAYERS have a future here and which ones are SEEN to be surplus to the requirements of a team (and an organization) whose future DEPENDS ON CONSISTENT CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL AND SILVERWARE/CHALLENGING FOR THE LEAGUE EVERY SEASON.

Sheikh Mansour has bet the long term future of the club on the above (in caps) and will stand for nothing less, regardless of the axe he has to wield to achieve it.....which is why he has brought in the best, most accomplished, football executives in the world.

One thing that MIGHT be in City's favor is that with the Premier Leagues FFP efforts, and UEFA's crackdown starting last year, it MIGHT be easier to get players to move around for slightly less wages and transfer fees. The very top, top players will still command a premium, but the likes of Nasri and aging stars like Tevez, who have made it clear they are going to Argie to end their careers, will no longer be able to command top wages, which often makes shifting them difficult.
