Mangala joins Valencia on a Permanent deal

How many defenders do Anderlecht need? just brought sandler in on loan, VK will presumably still be up for playing, and they must have one or two there. I'd rather see them focus on giving sandler the minutes to develop, than taking mangala, who im sure will find a club before september.​
 
All well run clubs make big transfer mistakes - this one is ours, and it's a real clanger.

As a side note, interesting strategy by Vinnie. Straight away using his immediate contacts to flood his team with a bunch of players that ordinarily you would think are well above the quality of the Belgian league, in order to give them the best chance of sucess.

If he can then make them leap up the table or even win the league there as a result of his decisive recruitment he'll be lauded a miracle worker and quickly move up the managerial ladder, once he's fully retired from playing.
 
Apparently he is on 100k/a week. No way did we extend his contract with that wage. he probably had an option for an extra year which he himself triggered.

Yeah, thats probably most likely. Option for sixth year. Just sums up this transfer. There is no way we were that stupid just to extend his deal in the hope of getting £5m at best. Id be astonished if so.
