Manners

Very important to teach kids manners at an early age too, my lovely grandson already has the please and thank you sorted. He even says thank you to the puppy when he takes the ball off him lol.

I remember when I was at primary school the teachers were big on manners too it was just a normal part of school life.

Do they still do this in schools or is it just something that teachers think should be learnt at home?

i'm old fashioned. a woman is a woman and she should be revered. mind you because of this my wife makes my life a misery, she knows i'm a pushover. i am nothing but a henpecked weak little man.

Lol but you treat her like a lady!

Is it old fashioned though? If you were brought up like that and tried to I still the same values in your kids shouldn't it just be the norm?

my kids manners are impeccable. they have no choice. mother is lethal with shit like that.

we are all scared of her. i'm looking for some else if you are intersted.

I'm a bit of a knight in shining armour. I walk on the outside of the pavement, open doors for the lady, let her out of the lift first, go to the bar - basically all the things expected of us gentleman. All of this stops if she refuses to clean up after a blowy, and I cut them out of my life for good.

They still do at the schools I am involved with, both Primary and Secondary.

I can vouch for de niro being a gentleman, except when you fall asleep on a train and he takes a photo of you!! ;-) I can also vouch for his wife being a lovely lady.
