A huge class above Suarez imo. Miles better footballer, miles more football intelligence & much harder working.

Have you seen how Suarez is getting on at Sevilla? I know he scored the winner in the Europa League final group game to put them through but not really watched much of La Liga. I don't think it's as bad a loss, him going to Barca as we first may have felt. There's a lot of talent in our academy and we're blessed with a lot of attacking players. Garcia looks like he could potentially fulfil a Fabregas style box to box role alongside someone more defence minded like Bryan etc.

I don't think he will be a box to box player at all. He will be more likely have a role similar to Silva. More than likely play just behind the forwards i think would be is best position.

Couldn't ever see Suarez playing over here tbh. He seems pretty easy to shove off the ball (in the way Pozo sadly was in the first team) and is much more at ease in Spain where it's less physical. Some players despite being small seem to not be bothered by this - silva for example and Garcia seems like that too thankfully. I think it's mainly an attitude thing, or perhaps how they use their lower centre of gravity. Either way I agree that Garcia has more potential to succeed than Suarez does over here.

I've seen Suarez once or twice & imo the reports of how good he is supposed to be, are wildly exaggerated. He is nowhere near good enough to be playing for City.

But I'm comparing Garcia now to how Suarez was when he was at City. Imo Garcia is already streets ahead of where Suarez was when he left City & he is two years younger than Suarez was at that time.

Suarez had talent but not so much of it as Garcia, & often failed to use it or show the right aptitude.

I don't think Suarez compares to any of our current attacking mids. The fact he holds down a place in a decent team at 21, augurs well for these lads in the future.

Garcia is one of the best youth players I've ever seen, based on technical ability alone. His ball control and passing is unbelievable for a 17 year old.

I had a little look and both Xavi and Iniesta made their first team debut at 18. Garcia isn't 18 until January next year.

I think there's a good chance of Garcia also making his first team debut at 18 - probably in the 2016/17 season.

Played for the U21s today against Southampton, just a joy to watch. Going to be one hell of a player.
Could be the player that replaces Silva.
