piss funny mate - i ain't got a clue what significance it has

Haven't you been reading? It's concrete proof that our ex manager would have won that game, instead of stumbling towards the relegation zone and another sacking in Italy.

It's funny all the chest beating in the Mancini thread in the run up to the Chelsea match. Then Inter go and lose to Sassuolo quite comprehensively to strand them in the bottom half of the table. TBF it's unlikely they'll be relegated, but it's also unlikely that they'll be finishing in a European place.

I would say its impossible. The Inter squad is unbalanced and barely fit for purpose. Its kind of why Mancini got the job in the first place. It will take major surgery, hard work and....hang on a minute I thought this was the Pellers thread? You scamps you just cant help yourselves from talking about Bobby can you?

Anyway back to Pellers. All things considered a good day at the office on Saturday. Shame we didn't get the win but I'll take the draw and the performance.

I'll tell you something which is significant. The Chelsea sides which City faced under Mancini, especially in his last two season in charge, were a long way away from the current Chelsea side in terms of quality. Plus there was the revolving managerial door and the uncertainty which came with AVB, Rafa, Di Matteo, etc.

Seems kinda weird the Bobby fanboys getting out their "Mancini would've won that game" posters because lets face it, his record against Mourinho is no better than Pellegrini's.

Thats what I don't get - trying to compare using differing timescales and conditions - very odd from the so called fanboys - maybe its trying to justify their beliefs in some way - interesting

I think with each passing month it's become more and more difficult to construct any form of relevant or rational argument for Mancini being a better manager than Pellegrini for City. I know that the right thing to do is to say "well Mancini did an excellent job, and now Pellegrini's doing an excellent job". To a greater or lesser extent I actually agree with that. But it's difficult to not point out the raft of flaws in Mancini's managerial skill set when you are faced with idiotic posts trying to compare completely differing circumstances to try and somehow downgrade Pellegrini's obvious abilities as a manager and coach.

The funny thing is there'll no doubt be a Bobby fanboy along anytime now to say "FFS why don't you just move on" completely ignoring the fact that the Mancini comparisons (once again) are started by one of their own.

The Chelsea side which Mancini faced also won the Champions league

Absolutely correct - but also came 3rd or 4th in Prem from what I can remember - You boys need to justify Mancini has and had a bigger dick than MP then thats your perogative - take it to a different thread.

MP has worked wonders since he has been here and bossed the peoples champions in their back yard in front of 650million viewers across the world

Forward with the boss - wait till yaya and Bony are here and then Jose won't know whats hit him

Do yourself a favour and don't tar me with the 'You boys' when referring to my thoughts on Mancini.

I liked him as a manager, and I don't like people criticising him as he achieved something remarkable at this club, but im nothing of a fan boy.

I think we will tear the league apart once we have Yaya, Nasri and Bony back, i just hope it isn't too late by then.

Part 2 of his Schtick is to say "It's so boring", then spend the rest of the day clicking and responding,

Yet this is what you do in reverse. What is the difference between yourself trying to downgrade Mancini's obvious abilities and someone else doing the same with Pellers? You both use selective facts and circumstances to bolster your arguments. You spent years ragging on Mancini and now others will spend years ragging on Pellers. Come to think of it you are still ragging on Mancini now he is at Inter. The reason you react so badly to comparisons from 'idiotic posts' is because you are just the flip side of the same coin.

Both Pellers and Mancini have differing abilities, qualities and flaws. Mancini when he arrived was an excellent fit for City at that time. Pellers is proving to be an excellent fit for City as it is now. The next coach (whoever that may be) will, hopefully, be an excellent fit for the City of the future. In any industry you pick the character and leadership that (a) fits your current circumstance and (b) can improve your circumstance to a higher level. You can see this in operation at ManU. Last season they would not have entertained LVG. This season ManU is LVG's woman and if LVG
gets ManU back into the CL and competing again they will dismiss him once the pain starts to outweigh the gain. Its football. Hell its fucking life in general.

Not that I am biting BK - but the only reason Mancini has been mentioned in this thread is down to quite a number of people making the comparison yesterday - down playing Pellers achievements against Chelsea - and how Mancini is the ultimate gods gift to football management

We're happy to be discussing the merits of MP on this thread - it is about him - actually I don't even think we need an MP thread anymore as the guy has more than justifed his selection for the role
