I get the sensible thing about sacking Pellegrini but surely there are better managers out there than Moyes as his replacement ?the sensible thing

Not if your a dodgy dildo salesman with a penchant for Russian military clothing.
I think at the time of his appointment he was interim manager for the rest of the season and the club didnt offer him a further contract.I assume he is still under contract with them from last time so they’ve just brought him back? I can’t remember the circumstances of him leaving so could be wrong

You would think Moyes asked for reassurance about keeping his job beyond the summer. Then again he might not be in the position to.In the short/medium term not really, Moyes also knows the club well and succeeded in his duties last time.
For next season, better managers maybe available and we’ll probably get rid of Moyes for a ‘star’ named manager and crash again.
So much so, they declined to keep him on. Riiiight. In the short/medium term not really, Moyes also knows the club well and succeeded in his duties last time.

A top shelf manager, so to speak. In the short/medium term not really, Moyes also knows the club well and succeeded in his duties last time.
