He might be a charming man but he's not the man for Man City, last season I seen him as a decent man manager who won't change his tactics, this season he's failed. Simple as that. In the summer we need a change.

Just won a double. Get a grip

Despite of or because of ?

Despite our poor defensive showings, his stubborn ways selecting a two man midfield time and again which sees us too open. We must stick because I cannot think of one available manager that is an upgrade on Pellegrini. He's just won a double, he's only just getting a full strength side together, we are below par yet are 3rd. The reason for optimism is because if we plug the gap in defence and build on that foundation then the only way is up.

Only two managers should be considered for this job after Manuel, Ancelotti or Guardiola. A great punt would be De Boer but i doubt he will get the job and I reckon he will need to move from Ajax to make hsi mark before getting a gig at a truly elite club.

No plan b and it's getting a bit fucking annoying now.
Dzekos confidence looks shot to pieces.......SORT IT
Jovetic looks desperate to impress and a man who doesn't seem fancied by his manager.......SORT IT
Yaya playing at 50% because he thinks he's untouchable........SORT IT
Mangala looks like a Sunday league centre half who hasn't received any instructions......SORT IT
Players are not being played on form they are being played on a match to match rotational basis.its seriously affecting performances ie Clichy fernandinho and more recently zabaleta.
Just hope we hit the standard we are capable of on Sunday.
Losing faith in the manager to be honest.
It's all a bit stale and I'm not a flapper!!

He looks like he's losing the plot. No-one in their right mind could have thought tonights team and the one V West Ham were balanced, well drilled and likely to win

As for starting Silva, don't get me started

He locked the team in the dressing room for 30 mins on Saturday?
How long tonight? 1 hour? 2 hours?

The tactical ineptitude on display tonight was astonishing.

In many ways I like Pelle, he's understated, calm and classy, BUT he seems tactically inept.

We have arguably the best squad in the league, but it seems our manager doesn't really know how to apply them.

That is what he's there for, squad selection, man management and tactics are key, yet many of us would agree that he fails frequently on the former and even more frequently on the latter.

I genuinely hate to say this but I think we will win nothing this season, under Manuel, the question is, at what point should we seriously consider looking elsewhere?

If we play like we did tonight against Man United we will lose .
The derby could see Manuel go .
I hope not but the team looks disjointed this season .

A few of the players, especially Zab and Vinny have mentioned in recent interviews that our style of play leaves us open. Guys knock on the door and tell the manager!

Part of me thinks this style of play is part of the holistic approach and it could be forced upon Pelle.

He will be given the rest of the season but he will not be here at the start of next.

If we lose badly in the derby he will go .
And don't bet against it .
