Never had a problem with him, I always liked the cut the of the guy, charming, cool and polite reminds me so much of myself to be honest

But to be fair I never had a problem with Roberto, both managers have been right the right men for their time
Agreed. Different situations call for different management. I sense the natives are feeling a bit restless and want the blood of their enemies, though, and I imagine they feel they have free reign.

Agree generally. I don't like Mancini, too arrogant and twattish for my taste but someone of his material was needed at the time and he did that job well for a while.

Manager of the season. End of even if the tw@ats in the media don't think so. Thorough man love for him, pure fucking class both on and off the pitch

The press kept bringing up the lack of success he's had since he left South America and he's shoved it back down their throats with 2 trophies. Not bad for a transitional season for a guy new to the league.

That's one thing they won't be able to level against him next year. Maybe they will see beyond the hubris of Mourinho and Rodgers next time round.

Or maybe not. They'll probably be sucking Van Gaal's balls instead.

Mancini was the right man when he came to City. And he did a great job during his reign. He changed the mentality that brought us silverware since a very long time.
Now Pellegrini took over and everybody at the club seems very happy with the man. A Capital One Cup and the PL-title is what he delivered in his very first season, bringing in an attacking goalscoring style of play with it. That is some huge achievement imo.
Last season proved the players and the club as well needed another approach, another managementstyle, a holistic one.

mancini will always be part of our folklore P has taken on the mantle superbly , MP appears boring to our media friends , and therefore does not get the adulation of one trick pony rodgers or gob shite mourinho , If we keep on winning 2 trophies a season , i will quite happily read all about the martyrs and chelski on the back pages , whilst we fill our trophy cabinet.
agreed they have all season tried to get him to say something controversial and he never fell for it. He has been a breath of fresh air handles himself with class and maturity. It's plainly obvious he has the players respect as unlike previous years there have been so few stories of unrest or strife. The press kept bringing up the lack of success he's had since he left South America and he's shoved it back down their throats with 2 trophies. As well as a new country and culture.

Also living away from his wife.

I really appreciated what Mancini did for us and he was a nice bloke to boot (though I fully accept not all the players will agree with that last bit of course) but Pellegrini has matched Mancini's achievements on the pitch and has also moulded a greater sense of togetherness amongst the players as well which should stand us in good stead going forward.

I hope all those people calling for his head when we were only a dozen or so games into the season are eating a large slice of humble pie now. It was nothing short of pathetic to show such impatience in such a short space of time, especially as his footballing style was already beginning to take shape at that point.
