If it was that easy as you described it there'd be hundreds of ball-playing GKs around. So you think had Joe play in Barca, he'd be successfully helping them in recycling possession?

Actually, that's true. The problem is converting mere possession into genuine chances, which we often couldn't do last season. By the way, if "Pep Confidential" is anything to go by, he hates possession merely for possession's sake.

No because there's not 100s of Barcelona's
Yeah if like ter-stegen he was signed to play in the cup games..Not loads of pressure to get it straight away, can learn the system.
Claudio Bravo kicking was 56% and 63% in his 2 seasons before moving to Barca, hardly Pirlo was he, now he has the best pass completion of any keeper in Europe. It's the system, as long as you have a decent first touch and can kick a football straight you could play in goal for Barca*. There is always someone to pass too in Barca's set-up, Joe hasn't had that luxury.
*Obviously have to be good at goalkeeping too.

Some people will literally say or think anything to avoid the fact that Hart is awful on the ball.
It's the fact he's not been asked to play, it's the centre backs. It's the system, it's the media, it's everything except Hart being awful on the ball.
