Sentimental or not but i'd quite hapily go down to barca now and knee cap both there keepers if it means Joe staying... i'm adament he can adapt to the new system..Much rather have our England No.1 leadership and 'City blood' then anyone else.

So why are you so concerned about this if Joe can adapt?

your post was about knobbling the two keepers being talked about. That tells me that despite your strong assertion that Joe can adapt (which I believe is what every fan would want), you have a worry tnat he cannot. What makes you sosure that any keeper we bring in is not a replacement for Willy?

i personally don't think we will replace Hart.. I'm fairly certain we wont bring in ANY keeper... my post was more regarding all the Wet Wipes on here that think writing a load of shit to justify why we need these keepers so they can play the 'pep way'... i could write a 250 word essay now on how David Silva doesnt justify the 'pep way' and we should be looking at X player instead , but it will just be a load of bollocks.

Fair dos. Im sure a fair few will need to adapt to Peps ways, including fans.

You know that people saying that Pep plays a certain way are just giving facts on what they've seen over the last 8 years or so? It's not something that's been plucked out of the air in order to try and sound clever.
You think anyone questioning Joe requires wet wipes? I'd say it's the soft arse posts like yours that need them more.

Regardless of the issues of distribution it would be a sad day when he leaves. A great servant who's seen it all and helped us to capture 2 titles.

Don't think anyone would disagree with that. Ive said on this thread and the Hart one that I hope he can prove himself capable of being our number one under Pep. Interesting times ahead.

I think it depends on how much he wants it. There is plenty of research out there to suggest there are no prodigies just people who accumulate thousands of hours of practice. If Joe stayed every day and did 2-3 extra practice surely he'd improve? Whether he would do that and whether the improvement would be fast enough, only he knows.

I don't think Joe will be here this time next year, regardless of what happens between now and start of this season.

We want a new goalkeeper, that's the long and short of it - and Pep would likely take either of the two at Barca as his No.1.
