Why?Now that does seem "bonkers"! ;-)

Playing practice games, particularly in a new system is invaluable pre-season. We have less cover at say striker than we have at CB. If they are not injured, I can only assume either he doesn't rate them and is looking to sell/loan them. Why?

Who is Kolo? ah Kolorov!or he has only two two pick from and one of them was carrying a slight knock, so he thought he wouldn't risk either of them in a friendly as one or both picking up an injury would have led to Nando/Kolo starting on Sat
My thoughts exactly.Don't know why everyone has a cry about this, they seem fine with slaughtering Navas,Bony and Kolarov every week. He's clearly not good enough for this team,Stevie Wonder would've got golden gloves the Years Mancini was here.But..But Hart is a vocal 'leader'..esp in the tunnel.Lol c'mon Hart's not world class,an okay GK yes.. Hopefully Bravo in Caballero out then Hart out next summer and a younger GK in.
Pity they haven't done a season review this summer for you to sit and watch and see how many times he saved our arsesMy thoughts exactly.Don't know why everyone has a cry about this, they seem fine with slaughtering Navas,Bony and Kolarov every week. He's clearly not good enough for this team,Stevie Wonder would've got golden gloves the Years Mancini was here.
I don't need one,I go to every match.I know he's not good enough anymore for this team. He's a mistake waiting to happen nowadays.I certainly don't need highlights to form an opinion.Pity they haven't done a season review this summer for you to sit and watch and see how many times he saved our arses

Every keeper in the country makes great saves. He can not command his area, can't distribute,a bag of nerves when the ball comes to his feet, doesn't know when to come or stay, punches a lot when he should'nt,positional sense not great and very week low to his left.Just my opinion, you don't have to agree.Playing down Hart's achievements are just as daft as those who over rate him.
He was without a doubt the best keeper in the PL during Mancini's reign. He was consistant and pulled off some of the best saves I've ever seen a keeper make. The Spurs and Liverpool away games spring to mind.
That said, in recent seasons he has been prone to making a lot more mistakes and he'd be lucky to now be considered in the top 5 PL keepers, never mind the best.

I bet this is A new persona for more guff about his favourite player.Shame...for £40 million, i think we should have taken Everton's offer and purchased Bravo. I honestly can't see Hart adapting to what Pep requires, and in a year's time, i doubt he'd command the same fee.
Right...so why was he only one clean sheet off winning it again last season. Wasn't the greatest defence was it.Mancini's defense?
There's a growing number of blues who seem to believe that the only thing that matters is the effectiveness of the 14 players that may be called upon on match day. That's fine, that's their opinion, but I've always seen City as more than just a mechanism to win trophies. I see it as a genuine community club, a family without sounding to corny about it. It was a big deal to me that Pep kept Brian Kidd on, not because of his tactical knowledge being the key to more wins, but because he's been there since the start of the new era of City, it's comforting to see him on the bench. Chappy still on City tv, Mike Summerbee still greeting our newest members. Everything we've built for the kids, from the ground up, the ethos of being a well rounded person they're instilling in the kids we train from so young.But..But Hart is a vocal 'leader'..esp in the tunnel.Lol c'mon Hart's not world class,an okay GK yes.. When you say makeweight I presume you mean straight swap surely?Could use him as a make weight in the Stones deal if Everton are interested

I see Joe as one of our graduates, I know he was 17 when we bought him, but all the same, he played in our lower team and kept Given out of the sticks when he broke through. He's a example to them lads now of what you can achieve. Zabba and Vinny are the same to me, they're men of the club, not just the starting 11. I know this is an outdated view point, but it's part of the reason we all stayed city fans through all them lean years, there was more to us than just success, we we're all in it together, with a song in our hearts and a smile on our faces. Really hope we haven't see the last of them days, there are somethings more important than trophies.
I personally think Hart is a World Class shot stopper. The Golden Glove is for clean sheets. It is an award given to goalkeepers but the achievement is clearly something that the entire team/defense contributes to. If you don't understand that, I can't help you.Right...so why was he only one clean sheet off winning it again last season. Wasn't the greatest defence was it.

Ok, so when a striker wins the golden boot, that purely is a individual achievement and in no way helped by the team...I personally think Hart is a World Class shot stopper.
