If Pep can't work with Hart then we're in trouble, passing is the easiest part of football that all kids learn when they're 3. Most goals against us will come on the counter attack and Joe is excellent 1 v 1.

Because he's shite on the ball. He has an awful first touch, he's hesitant, he can't see passes for ages and then he he panics as soon as there's any pressure on him, his accuracy of passing is poor, his selection of passing is poor.

He is simply bad with a football at his feet and everyone who isn't blinded by sentiment knows it. That's why there's been rumours of him being replaced since the day Guardiola was announced.

Not saying he's wrong but a few days ago he claimed Hart was 100% staying as number 1 this season... I know things can change but that's a pretty swift U turn.

I believe a lot will depend on who starts today. Willy starts and i firmly believe MAtS is ours as i really cant see Pep playing with willy as number one all season

I think whatever happens here, Big Joe deserves another chance. He's earned that right. Maybe if he gets a break from first team action for the time being, the break will do him good, just like before. We want stuffing if we let him go now, without giving him another chance in the future.
