Has it ever occurred to you that it's because he's not one of the best keepers in the world. Not sure even West Ham would take him over Adrian. Everton is Hart's best option if you ask me.

Sorry mate, I thought my irony was clear enough. ;-)
Had you followed my posts you knew that I like Joe as a nice lad but that I do see so many weak parts in his game that I am completely confused seeing so many guys on here who rate Joe as world class. He is not.

That's why I also said that it's more about loyalty or sentiment than about football knowledge from the view of the man in charge, Pep.
It's like a discussion between religion and science about life on earth. A compromise is impossible.

My sarcasm detector must be on the blink. Fingers crossed we get Ter Stegen.

It's MATS - Marc Andre Ter Stegen...

Just do not let run the German national anthem prior to the match... ;)

Yep, spot on.

WTF are you on about. Who do you support Man City or Joe Hart????Listen I will be disappointed if Joe leaves but at the end of the day this is their job and if his boss thinks that his employee cannot do the job that he wants him to do and their is another employee who can do that job better then that is that

At the end of the day we all wanted Pep we knew he is not afraid to make big decisions about big players Deco Ronaldinho etc this is one of those decisions. We as fans have to trust the best manager in the world to make those types of decisions now matter how hard it might be for us to accept to start with

Totally agree mate and plenty on here were ready to throw Yaya and Zabba on the scrap heap .

He's terrible with the ball at his feet and will only get pressed to the extreme and make mistake after mistake in passing the ball. You could see it last season- time and time again he had an easy out ball but opts to twat it upfield in the hope Aguero would latch onto it.Its not how Pep sets his team up, what's the point in having a ball playing CB if the ball just gets twatted over his head?

Ter Stagen is different gravy in that respect.
Perhaps Didi Hamaan was right in what he said he saw with the body language between Pep and Joe in Gothenburg- Joe twatting it up front seemed odd as that's going against what Pep wants.Ter Stagen is 24 so he's a lot longer than Joe for s start , will we benefit from a new keeper in the longer term? Absolutely.

come off it. he is not terrible with the ball at his feet. this myth is being spread now. he's alright with the ball at feet, not awful though. Hart is a better keeper than ter stegen in my opinion. better at keeping the ball out of the net and stoping the opposition from scoring. harts only 29 ? in the prime of his career and could have another ten years with us. your going way overboard imo with the hart criticism

Why a couple of weeks if we already signed him?

What have I missed? Great news if true... But Hart is a better keepee than ter stegan with this hand... Which is what keepers should be doing... However, peps requirement is clearly different

Hope the club are classy enough to let Joe know in advance.. Hope not like bobby or Hughes

In his last year at Gladbach - before he transferred to Barcelona and the part role as CL- and Cup-goalkeeper he had the highest average of shots stopped vs shots in the Bundesliga. I cannot tell if he is the second best German goalkeeper as Germany has a full arsenal of good goalkeepers - but he is the goalkeeper who after Neuer matches best to the system.

oh right, thats pretty impressive, but hart is one of the best for that swell. ter stegen is a good keeper dont get me wrong, but i just feel hart is still a top goalie and a position we shouldn't be worrying about to much

Joe, unfortunately, has always had a cock-up or two in his game and that has kept him from being the very best keeper he could/should have been.
