This makes it look like either pay us a fucking ridiculous fee most of it up front or they really do not want to sell and are pissing people about. This feels like a joke really..
Chelsea make their position clear as talks over Marc Cucurella reach crucial phase
Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Brighton and Spain defender Marc Cucurella over a mega-money move, but Stamford Bridge insiders have insisted they won’t be ‘held to ransom’ as the Seagulls continue to push for a lavish selling price.www.sundayworld.com
Surely they've heard the asking price nu now lol.
Probably a BS article though.
Appreciate the effort to blend in but for future reference it’s slippy G as opposed to fall over stevie G. Ric gets gets by the character on hostingFat frank i think will be first sacking, Everton a bit toxic at the moment, West Ham, Moyes doing good job, so unless goes to another club like top 6 side, it might be a while before that happens. Fall over Stevie G, could well replace him if it goes tits up, Potter is aa Brummie. Possible Leicester will Rogers stay, looks like they need to raise cash or Smug Eddie at Newcastle but maybe new ownets might go with a big name.
@TheSecretScout_
#Chelsea said they will discuss LC once they have signed Marc Cucurella. #BHAFC want it done at the same time. So Chelsea don’t back out and keep him
Thinking the same but you managed to write it.Question, what’s everyone’s giddiness about Cucurella? Nobody, and I mean nobody, had heard of him 12 months ago. In fact he’d gone under my radar all last season and I knew nothing about him until this thread. Not one top team in any league we’re after signing him or am I to believe Brighton was always his dream destination over say Turin, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Paris etc etc.
I really don’t get the hype over a potentially half decent player who’s had a half decent season at a very average mid table club. Bar his career highlight of Brightons player of the season, what exactly makes him so special and worthy of £50m?
I suspect it’s more frustration or desperation from fans, to what looks an easy solution to a problem, than his actual stats or ability but I could be wrong.
To command a £50m price tag, equal to what the worlds top LB’s have previously sold for, he must surely have something I’ve missed? Not his one international cap, more a justification for people to hype him so much at world class LB price marks. So can anyone share it so I can understand?
One international cap, one player of the season award and one season in the premier league with an average side…. Help me out guys and gals because I’m missing something clearly.
I’ve no doubt he’d sign and be crafted in to the player Pep wants but he’s far from a finished article and far from a top player currently, he’s nothing special at present and as seen with links today there’s equally good LB’s available (stats wise) that are a fraction of his price. This is why when I read “just pay the extra £10m” I have to scratch my head. We shouldn’t be having to pay £40m let alone £50m for a potential future star.
Not looking to argue, I just genuinely don’t get it and can’t understand the uproar and demands to up our bid other than maybe due to desperation or fear.
It’s got a very odd feel about it this..I dont know.. Its not moving as fast as I initially thought though...
It’s got a very odd feel about it this..
City can’t get the deal done.. supposedly re valuations player hand in TR
City make it known looking elsewhere but no official brief we “have ended our interest “
Chelsea “gazump” City and it’s reported Chelsea willing to pay asking price . Reports player agreed personal terms.
Chelsea now briefing they are willing to walk due to payment terms/price
Very strange somehow.
Loyalty payments are paid up, used to be called signing on fees, paid incrementally throughout a contract but paid up if the club want to sell.Does he get 4 years worth of wages while we also pay him wages for playing for us? What are you on about, if we sign him, we have bought him out of his contract, Brighton have nothing left to pay him. Not in bonuses wages or anything else.
I thought Chavs fans would be fucked off at losing Colwill? @Vialli98 ? I thought he was one of their starlets.. loan proposal or permanent deal? It’s very strange this whole thing..
I thought that would be the case.. just gets more and more odd. Hope whoever gets him it’s worth the fucking rigmarole of dealing with Poker Bloom .Trust me mate. The fanbase is up in arms about Colwill. We all thought he had a good chance at being integrated after a good loan at Huddersfield. He keeps being linked to loan/perm moves away or being thrown into deals for other players. Hope he stays or if he leaves we insert a low buyback clause. He’s one of the most talented CBs we’ve produced in many, many years.
