Great post but the Potter and England bit let it down.

This is ny fear Potter moves on, not so much England as i think he would rather have club football, but to another club.
He is far too young and successful for England I honestly can't see him leaving Brighton unless it's a top job. He is comfortable and secure not alot of top flight managers ever get that privilege. Can see him at spurs if they implode or arsenal if arteta moves on.

Have to admit, when the Chelsea stuff started coming out today I thought it would get wrapped up fairly quickly. Not the whole transfer but headlines saying 'Chelsea have reached agreement with Brighton to sign Cucurella' sort of thing. But nothing really.

Felt @Damien10 got some unwarranted shit for his posts yesterday, and doesn't seem to have a history of someone on the wind-up. Could still be legs in this yet. Unlikely I would imagine but City might still be alive here...

This feels like a joke really..

"with the asking price believed to included a hefty up-front payment."
Blues ready to walk away from the deal if Brighton’s asking price is not lowered.

Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Brighton and Spain defender Marc Cucurella over a mega-money move, but Stamford Bridge insiders have insisted they won’t be ‘held to ransom’ as the Seagulls continue to push for a lavish selling price.
Talks are set to continue in the coming days and all parties believe a deal may be within reach, yet Manchester City reached a similar stalemate in their move for Cucurella last month.

Now Chelsea are weighing up their next move and will consider alternative defensive targets if Brighton refuse to lower their £50million asking price, with the asking price believed to included a hefty up-front payment.

Surely they've heard the asking price by now lol.
Probably a BS article though.
