By going off your post if we acted swiftly we would of gotten him cheaper than the £60m price Cucurella went for.Why would they and why would we expect them to?
Impossible to know for sure, but if we'd met the much reported 50M, or somewhere near it, I think they'd have sold to us. (We'll never know of course and I imagine they're delighted the way it's panned out) . There is no way we start the season without an additional LB...No way...

I'm starting to think more and more that we're just gonna go with what we have.I don't think there will be anyone else lined up. Not at the reasonable price we'd want.
Clubs know we're desperate and with the Cucurella fee they'll be asking for the same.
